Abigail felt like such a geek, starting school a month after it started. But it wasn't her fault, she supposed. Mrs. Carondelet was the queen of procrastinators. She just knew she was going to catch hell for her Creole accent. Just looking at her, you'd think she was someone who'd crawled out of a horror movie; the kind where leeches rained from the sky, lights turned themselves off at the most inconvenient moments, and deranged men crashed through windows to pierce their swords through you. You certainly didn't expect a thick Cajun accent to come from her. Which could be why she kept quiet.
She continued to wander aimlessly, not knowing where to go or who to ask for help. She didn't like people much, anyways. But still.. It seemed quite easy to get lost in this place.
There's one missing student and suddenly theres a court case...

"Hey, Remi, who's that?" Scod was shaking Remi's head, snapping him out of his reverie. He looked around, surprised, then focused. "Uh..." He stared at the girl. She must be new, because he had never seen her before. "I don't know. Want to go meet her?" He asked. Scod glared at her. "No way, she's goth." Remi stifled a chuckle at that comment. "Your a black shadow, there's not much room to talk."
Remi waked to the girl, despite Scod hitting him on the head. When he reached her Scod stopped and stared at her, barely moving at all. Remi smiled. "Hi, are you lost?" He asked. He didn't really know if she was lost or not, but nearly every new student gets lost at a new school.

Abigail saw a boy approach her and slunk towards the wall. He was talking to her! Why was he talking to her?! She blushed a bit and clutched the heavy books the school had given her to her chest.
"Y-Yes.." She stammered, looking down, wondering why anyone would talk to her, or even feel the desire to, for that matter.

Scod scoffed, turning away. It saw her shyness as fear. "Aw, c'mon, I'm not that scary, am I?" Remi turned his head to look at Scod. "Kinda, yeah." Scod whipped around to face Remi. "I wasn't asking you, I was asking the scaredy-cat." It stretched over Remi and hung in the air so it was face-to-face with the girl. "Well? Am I scary or not?" It crossed it's arms.

Abigail backed away further. She shook her head vigorously.
"You ain't scary.." she mumbled, brushing a strand of hair back from her green eyes. She honestly didn't think he was scary. A little odd, but not scary. She debated walking away and trying to figure this out on her own. Her first day at her new school and she was already backed into a corner with a guy and a thing (She couldnt quite identify what it was..) standing between her and her classes. Lovely.

"I knew i- wait, I'm not? Seriously?" Scod stared at the girl for a while in bewilderment. It backed off and took a kind of piggyback stance of Remi's back, crossing it's arms and resting them on his head while he talked. Remi had a similar look of amazement. "How did you-" He looked around, checking for hidden cameras. Scod had never been this calm in front of new people. Usually by now they were cowering or chasing after them. "You must have the magic touch, so to speak, because he's, well, calm!"

Abigail shrugged. She didnt think she even has an inkling of magic in her, but if the guy with the thing said so, she supposed the best thing to do would be to agree and maybe theyd leave and she could wander this place alone. Or catch a cab back home. She was starting to get an eerie feeling that she didnt belong here, along with everywhere else in the whole entire world.
"I didnt do anything.. Forgive me for believing that your little buddy here aint scary.. Now if youll excuse me.." She said, turning towards the office. "I think Im going to call my mother and catch a ride back home.."

Remi and Scd watched her leave, but strangley it was Scod that spoke up. "You can't leave!" It called, more urgently then it thought. "Uh, your not allowed to leave until the end of the year." Of course, this was a complete lie, and they both new it. Remi looked u at Scod quizzically. "Wha-" Scod put a fingerless hand over Remi's mouth, silencing him. "Shh." It muttered. "Let's see what she does." It removed it's hand and staredd at the girl.

Abigail shook her head. She could care less what this school's rules were. She was leaving.
She approached Remi and poked him in his chest, not even trying to be intemidating, since she only stood 5 foot 3 inches and really couldnt get in his face. "You dont want me to leave? You stop me."
And with that, she turned on her heel and preceded to make her way to the office, wondering if the guy would actually do anything..

Remi watched her leave. "That...wasn' tme." He mumbled, looking at Scod. It stared after her for a while, then hit Remi on the back of his head. "Let's go after her." It said, showing off it's oversized teeth. Remi nodded. He didn't want hell to happen today, it was too nice out. Scod began glowing a feint blue, and the two melted into th ground. They passed through and, when they were a little ways in front of her, Scod slowly appeared, showing up to it's 'waist' and leaving Remi underground. It looked up at the girl, smiling. "Okay, I will."

Abigail jumped and dropped her books. She looked behind her, her eyes wide.
"W-werent you just.." She stammered, pointing to the place they were previously standing. She turned again to face him, wondering where the guy went.
"L-look.. Im leavin'.." She said, picking up her books and walking around him, quickening her pace.

Scod watched her walk away again, opening it's mouth and letting it's long red toungue loll out. "Shishi. Not so fast."It picked up a small stone, wound up it's arm, and tossed, aiming for her head. Let's see if she walks away this time. It thought.

Abigail cried out in pain as the stone hit the back of her head. She rubbed where it hit, hoping it didnt break the skin.
"Thats going overboard, buddy.." she mumbled, growing extremely angry at the fact he had to resort to hurling things at her head. The fact that now he was trying to hurt her confirmed the fact that she didnt belong and that she should leave.
"Youre an ass.." She mumbled and continued to walk away, the office seeming further and further away with every step she took. It seemed to be taking her away from her destination, rather than towards it. There was something seriously wrong with this school. And Abigail didnt like it one bit.

Selena was walking around, trying to get a feel for where everything was when she noticed a scared-looking goth girl walking towards the office. With a different facial expression, Selena would have been scared of her. She went over to talk to her.
"Um, e-excuse me... is something wrong?"

Abigail debated using the girl as a human sheild, then decided against it.
"Wrong isnt quite strong enough a word. Ive got a thing hurling rocks at my head! I want to go home.. I dont belong here.. I dont belong anywhere. I just want to go back.." She mumbled, tucking her books into a messanger bag she had across her shoulder.
"You ask for help in an unfamiliar place and youd think its the end of the world.." She said, looking at the girl and forcing a smile, then began to chew on one of her snake bites. "I dont even know why I was referred here.. Im not magic.."
