Theresa walked into her new classroom, feeling that familiar surge of magic. She didn't know how the other teachers had made their class seem, but she wanted this to be different. She walked up to the whiteboard and wrote her name with big letter, "Miss Martin". She smiled and looked around her classroom.
Her smile quickly dissappeared, how was she to do expirements with desks? Where were the examination tables? She sighed, moving the desks to the side with a flick of her wrist. Quickly twelve examination tables filled the space, twenty-four matching metal stools, and a side table at each full of medical supplies and two books. 'There, that was better' she thought with a smile.
No room of hers would be undersupplied. She smiled to herself again and sat at her own deskwith her hand folded in front of herself. The students should be arriving soon, not enough to fill the room but whatever room they took she could banish the rest of the tables. Thank gosh she kept her warehouse full of everything she might need for her classes.

Diane walked through over to the Infirmary, a place that she thoroughly detested. She only ever came to the Infirmary when something bad was happening; either Medicine, one of her most hated lessons, or if she was injured. Since there was no doctors in Henton town, or anywhere in the nearest 20 miles, the Infirmary was used for all things embarrassing and uncomfortable. She'd remembered the last time she went there was when she'd drunk at least five cans of red bull in as many minutes from a bet, and found that her chest was beating uncomfortably. She had hated the Infirmary wing ever since.
She walked into the room, dismayed to find that she was the first one, and even more so to find the lines and lines of examination tables lain out before her. She bit her lip, struggling not to pull a face of dismay as she sat down at one of the tables near the very back, trying to avoid the teacher's eyes. Usually, she would like to talk to the teachers or at least respond to them, but when she was being taught something she detested she suspected they would have little in common.

Mayu smiled and headed for the Infirmary. It was time for one of her favorite lessons, Medicine. Diane had already left by the time she woke up. She had dressed in a short sleeved black shirt with a shorter-then-normal-but-not-short-like-pub skirt, her usual black heeled shoes strapped to her feet. She turned around and teleported herself to the class. One of her favorite skills, without a doubt.
She smiled at the new Medicine teacher, loving the newest setup for the classroom. "Hey De, sit up with me and I can help you." she called out, waving Diane up to the middle. She knew that Diane didn't like this class but atleast with er own help maybe De would start liking it. It was an easy class to understand and since there would only be eight students in this class it would be even funner.

Diane really wanted to just get her friend to stop trying to wave her over. She wanted to sit at the back, where she wouldn't be picked on and so the teacher wouldn't have to watch such a terrible mistake she was making. She didn't particularly want to sit with Mayu either - she knew that Mayu would never understand Diane's unparalleled hate of Medicine, and pretty much anything to do with Biology.
Still, she could not abandon Mayu, especially when there was no one else in the room and the girl was so new to the school. She picked up her bag, almost dragging it along the floor as she moved to the middle, sitting beside Mayu. She wanted to put her head on the desk, or at least her arms, but the desk looked so sterile she didn't dare touch it.

Antosha walked into the room as Diane moved to Mayu's table. "Hey, Mayu. Leave poor De alone." he said, moving to an empty table in front. It was going to be a small class, so why were there so many desks? Whatever, he didn't really care. The teacher seemed nice, maybe a little happier then most tend to be though. It wasn't a great class, but he couldn't say he really hated it. With a sigh he sat down in the sterile chair, noting its coldness.

Theresa smiled at the students, banashing all the empty tables exept one. "Does anyone know when Brynn and Maon will be arriving?" she asked calmly, checking her rooster for reference. Class was supposed to be starting soon but she didn't want to start without all of her students. She looked around at the three students already here. One girl stuck out, she looked like she really didn't want to be here. Maybe she just didn't like it? Theresa hoped not, she wanted her class to be fun and enjoyable for everyone.
Though class had yet to start, she was already nervous. From what all the other teachers had told her, the students didn't like teachers and had no respect. She really didn't think this could be true but maybe she shouldn't act as young as she normally did.

Diane blushed lightly as Antosha defended her, finding herself unable to look at either of them, though she continued to keep in the same seat. She wished that she had been able to sit next to Antosha - she had really wanted to talk to him face to face, though from the looks of it it would be too small a class for much talking to take place.
She listened to the question, but didn't want to answer. Antosha could answer for Brynn, and Mayu seemed to know almost as much about Maon from the last couple of nights then Diane had ever been able to learn in all of the time they'd spent together.

Antosha shifted in his seat uncomfortably, not knowing how to answer. "He'll be here later,no idea about Maon." he croaked, his voice still sore. "De, sit up here." he said without looking back. He could tell she wanted to talk, but maybe he could scare her away with his drawings before she learned too much.

Diane found the request strange, but knew it was the better out of the choices available. "Uh, Mayu, is OK if I...?" she said, though she had already stood up with her bag on her back, and was moving around to the other side of the table closer to Antosha's. Her face pleaded, and she put her hands together, her eyes wide and waiting for the confirmation she knew was going to come.

Mayu looked up, her face showing how hurt she was. She sighed and waved Diane away, turning back ot her new textbooks. One was all about Magical Healing, the other covered all Medical Sciences for nonmagical people. They looked interesting, maybe more then what Ant had let her see of the Necromancy books. She looked at Antosha's back, then at De. He must be using her to avoid Brynn. The boy was crazy, she shook her head and watched the teacher as she passed.

Brynn rushed into the class. "Sorry I'm a little late." he said walking to an empty table around the middle taking a seat. Medicine was not a class he hated. HE was all right in it and knew it was very practical. He took a notebook and textbook out along with his signature lime pen. He smiled looking around the room having been in such a rush he missed who was here. Ant, Diane, and Mayu. He smiled and waved at them all.

Theresa smiled and stood up, moving in front of her desk. "Hi all of you, and welcome to Medicine and Healing." she said cheerfully, moving around the tables. It was her first day and she was determined to make everyone in here laugh or atleast smile. "I'm Miss Martin, but if it makes you happier. Please feel free to call me Miss Theresa." she continued on. Picking up a stack of papers she passed each student the syllabus. "Now as you all know we will be studying two types of healing this year; magical and nonmagical.
"The syllabus I just passed to you contains your coursework for this semesters work. Yes, we will be starting with Magical healing. By far it is my favorite work." she smiled again before starting again. "To start with we will compare different theories for healing techniques, some of which we will attemp on our own. But that will be for a later time, most likely tomorrow. Today we will be covering classroom rules, procedure, and introductions." Theresa clapped her hands together with a small laugh.
"I don't mind talking in class, but please get your work done. Magic is allowed but I have placed safe guards on all of your homework, so please don't try cheating. If you have any questions please don't be afraid to ask, that's what I'm paid for you know. I know some of your don't like my class so I'm trying to make it extra fun for you. Also, if you come into the room and the lab tables are full please refrain from touching things. As for procedure, it's simple. If there is a lab today not only will everything be out but will also have it posted it on the whiteboard. Now, all of you should have a lab partner. If you don't have one please fine one. Are there any questions about what I just said?" she asked, smiling at all the students.

Diane bit her bottom lip, already feeling in hell. The teacher was irritating her, and she felt completely patronized by her happy attitude, as if she was being spoken to by a young children's TV presenter. Who was she to teach her what was fun or not? Diane had been told by many a teacher in her lifetime that they would try and make it a fun experience, and they always seemed to think the only way of doing this was practical things - as if every student loves to get their hands dirty. Diane hated it, but she excepted that it was just another part of life. Still, she didn't look at anyone in the class as she spoke.
"Hey, Antosha, if you're wanting to pair up with Brynn I'll be OK with that," she whispered to him as the teacher took a gap for questions. She could tell that Mayu would have wanted her, probably, and she didn't want to stand in the way of Brynn and Antosha - at least not directly, anyway.

Antosha forced his eyes to return to focus. It wasn't that he hated this class, of course he didn't, but he just didn't care. "Do whatever." he said gruffly. All he wanted to do was go back to bed, why should he care who was his lab partner? Even if he got stuck with Mayu he wouldn't care, atleast she would do all the work. He had betrayed Diane, he had hurt her.
Suddenly he felt trapped in this room. The teacher was laughing too much, Mayu was sulking, Brynn was just there, and De's darkness was seeping in. There wasn't enough room for him, soon he would have to get out, or he would explode. None of his classes were this bad, none of them. Antosha stood up, the stool falling to the floor. "I'm leaving." he said, rushing out the door. In his hurry to leave his books remained on the table.

She looked at him, completely shocked as he began to stand up and walk out of the classroom. "Antosha," she called to him in a loud whisper, completely confused as to what was going on; she just stood watching him leave helplessly, her eyes wide. What was with him? She hadn't seen him in Psychics either, she suddenly remembered, and she wondered if she had done something wrong.
There was no point in her worrying; she knew what ever it was he would never tell her.
Now she sat on the table, holding onto the edge of the table like it was a lifesupport, not even bothering to look around. She knew that Mayu still needed a partner, and so did Brynn. She also knew that now the lesson was an odd number, and she could probably guess who would be placed into a three. She didn't dare move though, hoping she would be put with someone else.
