She shrugged, not quite expecting to give any examples, "Well, in general" she said, not quite sure what to say, "Life is different when you're thinking for yourself. Say you go to a museum, and everyone is enjoying themselves. How do you know that you don't just enjoy it because of the empathy? And if someone happens to be in love with you, can you really tell if your feelings are mutual, or are you just feeling theirs so strongly?" she asked, thinking that it all sounded very similar to what her marriage had been like. "You're free to have your own opinions."

Antosha thought about that for a minute, wondering if he really did like Brynn after all. But that really wasn't the kind of question he was going to ask Ms Jackson about. "Thank you Ms Jackson, do I need to go back to class now?" he asked, wondering if the teacher was mad at him.

She looked through the window of the classroom, checking to see if anyone was looking their direction. Thankfully, they weren't, and a strangely young smile on Ms Jackson's face appeared, "Well, I'm sure that you won't learn much in the last ten minutes of your lesson, but I'm required to order you to go back to your lesson since you don't have any problem with it anymore... I'm just going to assume that you choose what's best, and go over here." she said, beginning to walk off while giving him a familiar smile. So, she was breaking the rules? For once, it felt alright.
She didn't know if he returned to his lesson or not, and she didn't really care. He was a smart boy, and she knew that the decision didn't mean that much; he deserved the break, even if only for ten minutes.

ANtosha smiled, leaning back against the wall. All of this had worn him out, maybe he would just rest his eyes before Diane had finished the class. When they all came out he would go back to being his normal happy self, pretending nothing had happened.
