She looked at him, holding him at arms length as she examined each piercing in turn, trying to find some redeption at what Diane could only assume was another way of self-harm. "Uhhmm..." she said, pulling a face and trying desperately to not look too disgusted, but she couldn't help but laugh at herself, lowering her head and admitting, "I'm sorry, I really..." she said, her smile still laughing as she shook her head, "I can't stand piercings." she told him, hoping that he wouldn't be too offended by her reaction. On the plus side, it made it all the easier to stop herself from thinking of him in that way.

Antosha gave a small chuckle, hugging her gently. "It's alright, no problem. Okay. How about.. Let's go get some coffee." He gave a small chuckle, leading her gracefully out of the kitchen and through the cafeteria. Wanting to head striaght to the nearest coffee shop. A nice black cup of coffee sounds perfect right now, after that he'd probably head off to bed. Maybe, hopefully, not alone.

She smiled at him, blushing as she followed him and despite his words she felt guilty. "I do want to like them, honest...." she said, her steps falling perfectly in time with his, feeling like there was no one else in the world. It felt perfect, but on an entirely different level to what she was used to. She felt like their relationship had been drowning when she had felt in love, and now those words just couldn't be spoken or even thought in a complete sentence. Now, she felt the strong friendship which they had started the year with clearly, the foundations which had always brought her back into his arms. "Coffee sounds fantastic right about now." she admitted, putting her hands in her pockets.

He wrinkled his nose, laughing softly. "We can't forget the donuts, right? DONUT POWER ACTIVATE!" Antosha smiled, stricking an awesome pose. He stuck his index finger out in the air like there was something important, with his other hand firmly on his hip. A few passing people snickered, he ignored them and returned to normal. "I like my cofffee black just like my metal." he sang loudly, trying to throw it as off key as possible.

She laughed, playfully hitting him in the chest with the back of her hand, but not enough to do any more than the damage of a pat, laughing as she looked around herself nervously. "Donuts with coffee?" she said, scrunching up her nose. Although she'd heard the combination before, mostly from the Simpsons, she found it an odd mixture. "Oh, can we go to the one on the back street, with the green sign? They sell peppermint tea... I'm such an old woman," she laughed, leaning closer and putting her arms around Antosha, ready to ride into the sunset with her best friend. Right now, she felt like how she had always imagined it to be if she'd had a brother. A real brother, who she had grown with all her life and hadn't spent it trying separate the family.

Antosha laughed again, giving a strange guy a glare as he tried to come closer. No one was hitting on his Diane unless he liked them, no one was allowed. "Alright, little sis. Let's go drink tea.." he wrinkled his nose as the thought, having always hated the taste of tea. Coffee was more his style then anything else. "Hey! Coffee and donuts is what all the cops eat!" he laughed again, heading for the back streets quickly.

She laughed, putting her hands up, "Nuh uh uh. Peppermint tea and tea are not the same things. Though both are delicious..." she said, letting herself be lead. The role of sister seemed to suit her well, and even Antosha seemed to be more relaxed around her. It was good to feel like things were finally getting back to normal.
She groaned at the sudden reminder of police, gritting her teeth. "You know that police guy from before? He is not leaving me alone. He's determined to find.... something!" she said, throwing her arms up in irritance, shaking her head slightly but smiling, trying to forget all about it, as she tried to quickly change the conversation to something else, worried that Antosha would get even more protective. "So, are we going to teleport to the forest or walk the whole way?"

Antosha laughed again, flinging his arms around her to teleport them both to the edges of the forest, closest to the actual town without breaking the barrier. "Tada! No spell required!" he laughed again, relaxing his grip on her. A light and bubbly feeling was filling him, mostly from her presence. He was scared what would happen when she left, but he didn't dwell on it. Might as well take advantage of the warm fuzzies now.

She smiled and looked around herself, holding loosely onto Antosha's wrists and keeping them close together, so that he didn't let go of the hold around her, even if she had felt it loosen. "Fantastic." she said with a grin, walking forwards confidently, since she suspected that this coffee shop was visited by her more often than it was by Antosha. "Forwards, towards the caffinated and detoxy goodness!" she said.

"COFFEE!" he screamed, ignoring the frightened scares of everyone around them. So what if they thought he was crazy? At least that would be close to the truth. Antosha snickered madly, glaring at a couple of guys walking past. Why was everyone checking out HIS Diane? Didn't they understand that they'd have to get through him first? He tightened his grip on her, feeling protective. "Find any guys you like?" he asked casually, remembering the last time they went to a coffee shop together. It seemed ages ago.

She smiled and shrugged, wondering why he was wondering about men that she liked. Was he jealous, or just plain protective? She was guessing from the looks that he was giving the other guys that were walking past that it was protectiveness, and she laughed quietly to herself. "You do realise that they're not looking at me, but the crazy stranger who is shouting at the top of his voice next to me, yes?" she said with a grin, though she pulled him closer.
She felt heard her phone giving a quick knocking sound, telling her that she'd got a text. She pulled out her phone, smiling and biting her bottom lip as she read the text. It was Brendon, finally replying to her. She replied, barely noticing that Antosha was still there as she tapped against the keys as fast as she could, before putting it back into her pocket. "Hm? What'd you say again?"

Antosha stiffened breifly, looking over the top of her head to the phone. Who the hell was Brendon? He glanced over the message, confused at why she was talking to a guy he had yet to meet. What if he wasn't safe? "Can I meet your little boyfriend, Brendon?" he asked calmly, still headed for the coffee shop.

She instinctivly clutched onto her phone, making sure the leather casing was shut tightly. Her face was a little pink, and her eyes a little wide. He'd read the text? she was only thankful that it had been one of the less suggestive messages. "I-He's not...." she stuttered, finding herself trying desperately trying to talk but her throat was closing up. She looked down, her face more red now than it had been for a long time, storming quickly forwards as she realised she had been falling behind from the shock, "It's nothing." she said, not quite able to look at him, and unable to let go of her phone.
Just then, another text came through. Watchful of Antosha this time, she held it close to her chest as she texted, walking faster to try and let him not read. She snapped shut the leather case, turning back to Antosha. It seemed foolish to hide the two from each other, but she was afraid. She had almost lost having a chance with Brendan at all because of her obsession with Antosha, which had shone out clearly. She dreaded to know what it would be like if Brendan saw how they acted when together. "He's not my boyfriend.... yet." she said in a small voice.

Antosha raised an eyebrow carefully, looking down at her. "Your ashamed of me?" he asked, feeling slightly hurt. His arms dropped away from her as he walked further away, still headed for the coffee shop, but not at the same pace. It did explain a lot, he knew how she felt about him, but it never accured to him that maybe he should act more distant. No more touchy touchy whenever possible, it seemed stupid now.

"What...?" she breathed, shaking her head and putting her arms around him. "Antosha, no, I could never be ashamed of you..." she said, holding him tightly and stopping in her tracks. It didn't feel right to keep moving with all of this happening, and her arms pinning him so that he would have to hurt her to start moving again. "Antosha, I l-like you, a lot," she said, finding it impossible to say 'love', even when she only meant it in friendship, and she hoped that he wouldn't notice the stutter. "But you've been a lot of hard work sometimes, and I really can't go scaring off another guy." she said, putting her arms down so that he was free. "People take one look at me and I seem to have 'taken' written all over me, and I just want a chance to be a part of the fun stuff in a relationship." she said, realising her words were probably digging her a deeper and deeper grave.
