Kit shrugged, offering him a warm smile, "Its no problem, really." he said. He would have done something like that for anyone, no matter if they were his best friend, worst enemy or complete enemy. At the end of the day he was saving a life, possibly two since Bren looked like he would give up at any moment without Diane by his side. Maybe even more than two, since he had already heard stories of her violence and sharp tongue. "I'll do it tomorrow, since I'm on my way out anyway," he said, remembering his promise to Zeke.

Brendan smiled at Kit, wondering how he could possibly repay him.
"I owe you big, man. Really." He mumbled, trying again to sit up and finally accomplishing it. He wondered how long it would take to rid Diane of the demon, how long it would take until he finally died. He had told himself once he had solved her problem, he would take his own life, finally accomplishing the goal he had had for so long now. He sighed, getting very hot in the shirt and his bandages.

Kit smiled and shrugged, "You owe me nothing," he told him seriously, "Just... try not to worry yourself too much about this. You're going to end up making yourself just more hurt and, in the off chance that Diane" he spoke the name tentatively, afraid he had said the wrong name, "was just being possessed when you thought she didn't love you, keep yourself in one piece for her, yeah?" he told him, "From the sounds of it, you care about her enough to just do that one favour...."

Brendan felt as if he was going to cry again, just thinking about Diane. "Mind if I take a nap, man? Ill get Brax to fetch you if I start having Kit withdrawls." He joked, knowing Kit didnt want to come back. He felt a tear slide down his cheek, and wiped it at casually, hoping Kit didnt notice. Being without Diane was killing him inside. He didnt know how much more he could possibly take. He couldnt even open his phone because she was his wallpaper, his inbox was full of her text messages. His breath caught in his throat, knowing he wouldnt be able to talk again without crying.

Kit nodded, watching him for a second to make sure he didn't change his mind, making sure that he would be alright. "Brendan..." he said slowly, stopping and sighing, very few words of comfort coming. "We'll get her back." he promised, even though he knew he couldn't have promised a thing like that.
He turned away slowly, not waiting for a reply as he walked out, letting him get some well needed rest. -fini-
