Lily-Mae frowned at what Mayu had said. "Just tell her your not picking sides. That will be more than what she wants to hear," she said as she put the book down. She leaned back against her pillows and went through an inventory of potions in her mind. She could remember them all, it was just that she never wanted to take the time to actually measure things out.

"I don't care enough to." Mayu said, rolling her eyes gently. "I'm going to bed now." she stated, turning her back to Lily-Mae rudely. It hurt her to be so rude, but she wasn't in the mood to talk about Diane.

Lily-Mae let out a sigh and shifted her books further down her bed. "If you need anything at all let me know," she said in a soft tone,"even if you think it is dumb." She leaned back on her bed, wondering what would happen between Diane and Mayu. She hoped that everything would turn out okay and that this would not break their friendship up.
