"Do you know him? What kind of guy is he?" Antosha kept pressing, knowing how much it was angering Diane. Not that he wanted to, but if his sister persisted in this nonsense, he would need to be prepared for the worst. Which, in most cases, the worst always befell Mayu. He hated having to anger De, since she was scary when mad, but he wouldn't do it unless he really needed to know.

"He's just..." She rolled her eyes, letting out an irritated sigh. "Just a bastard, if you excuse my French." she told him, her brows meeting in a fuel of anger. As much as she hated Melville and the dangerous feeling, it felt like a mini-adrenaline rush. "He's just... He just irritates me, and everyone around him. He's been spoilt his entire life and his mum, bless her but she hasn't got a clue." she told him, "She's always brought him up that men are this evil incarnate thing, and Melville just accepted it. He's spent his entire life getting to the top of the food chain, and he doesn't care who he steps over- Strike that, the more people he steps on the better."

Antosha looked at her, his face held no emotion. "What about his girl friends?" he asked, his voice was like glass. Sharp, painful, and emotionless. In his mind however, he was furious, screaming at Mayu for her stupidity. No way was this guy going to stay around his sister for much longer, he would stay far away from her, whether he had to die to get the point it didn't matter. Again, he wanted to kill Melville. This was happening a lot today, just be one of those days.

She laughed, almost cackling, "Girlfriend? Melville?" she shook her head, "Melville doesn't do girlfriends. He has one night stands, fuck buddies... He's slept with more women then I can count, but I don't think he's ever had a relationship with someone..." she looked at Antosha, as though breaking out of the fiery grip, "Why'd you ask all that, anyway?"

Antosha looked up at Diane, her hate mocked onto his own face. "Mayu was kissing him." he said simply, tyring not to break something. Stupid, stupid, stupid girl! Couldn't she do one thing right? Of all the guys why HIM? Why did have to be the one loser in the whole school? Salem would have been better! But noooo, she had to go and fall for Melville...

Diane's face dropped, a look of horror creeping in which paralleled that which she had felt when she found that her life was at stake. "What?" she asked, finding it hard to remember to breath again. Then, the fire took over. In her eyes there was no Mayu any more, simply Melville who had been caught trying to destroy her again. "I will kill him." she said, a frightening certainty to her voice.
"I will kill him," she repeated, standing up and demanding, half-shouting at Antosha, "Where is he?"

" I don't know." Antosha said calmly, Diane's fierceness snapping him out of his hate. If she killed Melville, Mayu would rip out De's eyes. No wonder Melville could hate her at times, she was really scary pissed. Antosha sighed, taking in a deep breath. "Relax." he said, staring at her.

She didn't want to calm down. The fire was burning inside of her, demanding attention and fuel. She couldn't sit back down, pacing around and simply waiting for the anger to simmer out of her so that she could think straight. "I'm..." she sighed, taking in the breath to calm her down, "I'm sorry, OK?" she said, fighting off the end of her anger, "I didn't mean to get so uptight." she looked down. Even with Melville not there he was ruining her life, bringing out a side that didn't even exist without her.

"It's fine. I want to kill him too." Antosha admitted, staring at her still. He could feel the edges of her anger leaking out at him. He wondered why De hated Seth so much, what did her do to her anyhow? Was there something missing from her memories or was she just blocking it from him?

She drew in a shaking breath, getting rid of the final sparks of the flame. "I know, just..." she said, sitting down beside him and trying to lean back into him, though it was harder for her to relax now. "It goes deeper than that, alright? If there was something worse than killing him, I'd be threatening it." she said, looking down. Her hatred burned beyond memories, beyond incidences. Of course, there were ones that burned in her mind more than others, particularly one.. which she refused to even think of.

He put an arm back around her, trying to give her some comfort. "It'll be alright." he said, putting his head on top of hers. He closed his eyes, trying to block out her anger. It was blinding, a fury that pounded through his veins, a poison through his heart. Almost painful, really, it was a shame her hatred ran so deep.

She could feel his arms around her, almost feeling like she was being restrained. It reminded her that his words were probably not only for her benifit, and that Antosha was probably feeling the same emotions she was. "I'm sorry." she said, loosening up and curling into him. "Can we change the subject now?"

"Ready for elemental practice?" he asked, smiling. Antosha abides by her wish, changing the subject quickly. Elemental practice was the first thing that came to his mind, well that and dueling club. Maybe he would mention that next, he really wanted to try his luck against one of the other students.

She rolled her eyes and groaned, twisting her head around and burrying it into his chest and holding onto his shirt. "No... please..." she said playfully, lifting up her head and saying, "Right, you know how last time he told me that I was a natural at air? Yeah, I know, I'm an air-head." she said, wanting to get the pun out of the way before it caught her off guard later. "Well, I tried to make ice after the lesson and thought, OK, I'll just try and do air and water, and then it starts snowing, and I'm thinking... 'Did I make it snow?'" she began to laugh, "I'm starting to think that I can't do elements, that I can only change the weather. I make fire and my hands burn red hot-" she had to try very hard to supress certain memories that went with that, "Water makes it rain, air makes it windy and I still can't do Earth."

Antosha laughed, shaking his head gently. "I'm more of a fire guy. Watch this; I combined Air and Fire so now I can make designs, in the air!" he jumped up suddenly, smiling widely. He emptied his mind, focusing on the images flashing in the empty air. With a deep breath he started up a small pathway of air, in the shape of a rose, snapping his fingers together he lit the airway on fire. A burning rose flashed in the middle of the room, touching nothing.
