She gasped, "Strapless?!" so shocked that she said the words out loud, even though she was completely alone in her room. "Strapless!?" she looked at the little dress in shock, realising just how little it really was. "Sharon, I swear to God..." she cursed, picking up the note that came with the dress. It said 'Hope you have a good time. Take lots of pictures'. She cursed again; there was no way she could get away with not wearing it now. She pulled in the tiny dress, not sure whether to uncomfortably cover just how short it was, or how low down it rested on her figure. "Oh, jeez...." she said, looking in the mirror, wondering just how much the boys would laugh at her. She quickly donned her make-up, another thing that she felt uncomfortable with. She just prayed that the night would end quickly. She clicked and clattered her way down the stairs and towards the main double doors of the entrance to the great hall, hoping she would meet up with people. It was FREEZING.

Antosha smiled, fixing the small bowtie to his outfit. As goofy as it sounded he looked rather good in his Lolita clothing, Mayu had selected it to match her outfit. Though the pants were a tight fit he still liked the way he looked, all dolled up in black and white. As if that weren't enough to say for his style he'd even gotten his hands on an ankh that looked a lot like De's, it was hanging from his neck proudly.
The only other thing he had changed to the outfit was the added black jacket, just in case it was cold inside. He smiled, heading outside and towards where this party would be held. He laughed slightly as he saw Diane's skimpy dress. "Hello ma'am." he said politely, tipping off his hat towards her. If he were going to dress up for this thing, then he was going to go all out.

She laughed back, wobbling towards him and half collapsing into a hug, mostly just to cover herself up properly. She was so afraid that her make-up would run from laughing so much. She looked at him, looking at him up and down and commenting, "It's unusal, I'll give you that," with a smile. "But if you laugh at me again I will have to gouge your eyes out with spoons." she said, narrowing her gaze. "I'm feeling self-conscious enough as it is..." she said, pouting slightly.

"If you think this is unusual, wait till you get a glimpse at Mayu, were almost matching." he smiled, kissing her gently on the cheek. Antosha glanced around, wondering if they were suppose to wait for everyone else to arrive or even what they were suppose to be doing. "Uhhh, I need my eyes thank you very much." he said rather airily. He couldn't wait for Mayu to arrive so they could show everyone what dancing was all about, he chuckled to himself at the stupidity of that.

"Then don't laugh at me," she said, half whining as she folded her arms, feeling the cold. "I didn't even want to wear this stupid thing," she said, kicking the ground nervously.
She looked forward, his first words really sinking in. She hadn't really realised that he and Mayu were still close enough to be making themselves match. "I bet she'll look better than me..." she said thoughtfully, remembering how it seemed Mayu could get away with wearing much more than Diane. Or at least she had the confidence to pull it off. "Not that you don't look gorgeous, as always." she said suddenly pulling herself up and smiling at him.

"Honey, we are 'related' of course we'll still be close. But don't worry, no one is going to look as stunning as you." he smiled, wrapping his arm around her. Then an idea hit, a brilliant one. "Want my jacket to cover up with?" he asked, looking down at her. Antosha figured at least she might as well be comfortable in this, rather then have to deal with a moping Mayu. "Darn you, Melville." he murmured under his breath, watching Mayu replay the scenes in her mind.

She let out a short laugh and shook her head, "You mean no one'll look as slutty as me!" she said with a grimace, nodding and holding out her hand at the suggestion of having a jacket - at least until she could be inside. "I was going for the 'enough to turn a gay man' look. Did it work?" she asked, playfully adding a flirtatious smile.

Antosha smirked, pulling out of his jacket carefully and handing it to her, leaving himself standing in a crisp white shirt and black vest. He leaned forwards dangerously to her face, twirling a strand of her hair between his fingers. "Sorry hun, still playing the game for Brynn." he winked, giving her a crooked half smile. Just the kind that was nice to look at but served a double purpose as his deadly lady killer.

She shook her head playfully, saying "Damn..." as she took his coat and wrapped it around herself. It swamped her, coming so low that it pretty much covered the entire dress. "I feel like a stripper..." she said, looking down at her outfit, and realising all you could see were long legs with strappy heels under a big jacket. "Or maybe a prostitute..." she grumbled, tightening the jacket around herself uncomfortably.
The bright lights and cheesy music caught her attention from inside, as she looked into the big doors. From what she could see, it looked amazing. "What's that twig thing?" she asked, looking at the top of the door. She'd failed to recognise the mistletoe, as she'd never seen it before in real life. To her, it just looked like an out of place twig stuck on the door.

Antosha quickly stepped away from he door, smiling. "If you are a stripper, my dear, then I must be your boss." he laughed, stepping through the threshold to avoid the mistletoe. "That is mistletoe, meant for kissing." he laughed, looking around trying to spot the ever elusive Brynn.

She smiled widely, walking towards him, saying, "You must be my pimp, my dear," sticking out her tongue. She usually didn't, but was beginning to fall into Antosha's habits.
"Oh..." she said, looking at the mistletoe. "So that's what it looks like. Aw, I can see it now," she said, spreading out her hands and turning them into a square over the doorway, "You and Brynn, just happening to notice the mistletoe... oh whatever will you do?!" she teased. "And I heard that last time they had a Christmas party, the year before I arrived here, they rigged some of the mistletoe so that you couldn't leave the spot without kissing..." she said, wincing and saying, "Want to walk through separately when we go, just in case?"

"Separately." he stated, though he couldn't care about the option. But the logical part of him knew to stay away from Diane tonight, not to get too close with her. If Brynn was going to be here, then it would be best if Antosha didn't try to add to the other's confusion.

She smiled and nodded, pulling away and taking off Antosha's jacket. "I'm going to go inside and see if I can find Abigail. You going to be alright out here until Brynn comes?" she asked, suddenly stepping back, realising that Antosha was probably going to be distant tonight with Brynn around. She at least needed someone to take her mind off him, and for some reason she instantly thought of Abigail.

Antosha nodded, taking his jacket back and slipping it on. Farther off he could see a maid looking girl walking towards them, Mayu must be on her way then. "Have fun darling." he said, giving her a small hug. With that done he leaned against the wall for Mayu and Brynn to arrive, though the act was wrinkling his poor vest.

She hugged him back lightly, already with her phone in her hand, getting ready to text Abigail and ask her where she was. "See ya!" she called, skipping off the the room, barely noticing the lack of heartbreak she felt leaving him and stepping into the room. Usually she'd be fighting with all her strength to just step back, but she was too eager to even notice now.
With a bounce in her step, she stepped away.
