Seru yawned walking into the room clad in winter decorations and snowflakes hanging from the ceiling. There were tables dotted throughout the room and a giant dance floor. His job was merely to sit and watch. No mischief or magic. He sighed walking to a corner table hoping Mark remembered that today was the dance. Seru had helped him with his outfit. Seru himself was wearing black pants and a black shirt with a red tie. Not really his complete style but it did work. He smiled watching a few of the students laughing and enjoying themselves waiting for the food to be served.
Seru began flipping through his contacts and text not paying much attention to anything. So far the hall was lit and the music wasn't loud yet. "Ugh..." He began fixing his hair waiting for some entertainment in the form of a person.

Mark sighed, arguing with an invisible person off to the corner. "Alyssa! I do not look like a grape!" he yelled, frantically putting on his purple half shirt and tie. A woman appeared in the corner, with long wavy black hair and a pure white dress. "Now now Mark, don't get into a freeze on me. I never said anything of the sort. Now get over here you helpless boy!" she snapped as he fumbled with the tie. With expert hands she quickly fixed the mess he'd made. "Now off you go, remember I'm just a few steps behind." she faded away again, smile still posted on her face.
Mark sighed, stupid guide. He walked over to the party room, looking inside the decorated room. He was lucky to even be here, since he'd forgotten until five minutes ago when ALyssa pulled him out of the shower. He noticed Seru sitting off to one corner, with a smile he slid into a seat nearby. "Made it." he joked, gently smiling at Seru even though he was on the phone.

She downed the glass of champagne in one swig. It was the only thing that was keeping her vaguely alert and awake. She looked beautiful that night, and had made a real effort to keep up appearances, but even the most powerful make up could do nothing to cover the bags under her eyes and the worried look that was in her eyes. Her eyes opened wide, finishing the drink quickly as she saw the new student teacher walking past, and seeing him walk over to Seru, remembering what she had to do.
Quickly, she followed them and came towards them, a warm greeting to both, "Seru," she said, bowing her head slightly, "Mark," she greeted. She hadn't seen Mark since the interview he had given to get into the school, and she had had little time to speak to Seru lately, "I'm sorry for intruding on your evening but... I need your help." she said, her eyes wavering slightly, even as she kept the tone formal. After all, she was the boss, even if she would probably be fired after the evening.

Mark looked up, laughter gone from his face. His new boss was here, which would have been odd if she hadn’t seemed so upset. “What is it ma’am? Has something happened?” his tone was calm, never wavering and never straying. Straight to the point, just as he was thought to use when dealing with one’s betters. Why wouldn’t he have used that voice on her anyway? She was cleary distraught. Mark wondered why she would need his help, he was after all, just a student teacher. Nothing special here. Maybe other then the fact his entire family is spirits, and stay at his house. But that wasn’t relevant at the moment.

Seru smiled as Mark arrived. They hadn't talked much but he seemed like a nice guy, someone Seru would want to get to know. "Hey Mark." He said giving a smile. While talking he noticed Grace walk up to them. He looked up at her with a strange hunch to what she was talking about. "Grace, is this about...?" He said implying the strange spirits around the school. His own spirit guide was quite confused about it too.
Aisu had been quite aware of the spirits. She had noticed it early on warning Seru in advance. He had soon begun feeling the presence as well. He sighed. "Whatever help you need I'm here." He said with a worried look on his face.

She put her hands together, watching them both closely, her head down. Most of the students had seemed to notice, so why was she so surprised that these teachers had also noticed? She looked down, feeling so alone without her spirit guide looking over her. It was liking losing a limb, an organ, a best friend and all of her family at the same time. She looked up, giving them a polite smile. "I'm afraid so." she said to Seru in a grim tone, turning to them both.
"As you probably worked out, this Christmas party isn't just for the sake of entertainment. After all, we haven't had one in years," she said with a dark smile, feeling herself crack, "Spirits have been released and I-" she looked away, staring into the distance, barely able to speak, "I foolishly thought I could handle it myself," she turned back to them, "I know I will probably be fired shortly, and I need to make sure this school is safe for when that happens. I need you to tell me of anything unusual you see, any spirits from any person. Can you do this for me?" she asked, her voice faltering at the last moment.

Seru gave a heavy sigh listening to her words. "You should have come to me in the first place." He said with a small smile meaning no offense. "Well there so many strange things going on it's hard to keep track." He said with a frown. "Do you have any ideas what we can do?" He said looking seriously at her. What he had thought would be a fun night of sitting around doing nothing had quickly turned into a serious fight against spirits.
He worried slightly if she'd get fired in a reassurance. "They won't fire you, it was an accident right?" He asked with another frown looking over at Mark. He had just got here and started his job already being bombarded with problems of spirits. He sighed feeling a bit sorry for the guy.

She blushed and smiled politely, even as her tough facade was beginning to fall, "Thank you, Seru," she nodded, looking around herself uncertainly, "Well, my plan was to find and exorcise each individually, but without my spirit guide-" she cringed, the words hard to say, "I'm struggling to find them. There are some far too powerful for me to deal with alone." she said with an unhappy smile, her hands still holding each other closely.
She tried to give a brave smile, though it was a struggle, "In a fairytale world, apologies would suffice, but if even if this hadn't been caused through such recklessness on my part, I'd still be preparing be fired. Too much rides on this school's reputation, and mine has been compromised," she told him softly, her words excessively formal. Ms Jackson had made her peace with the decision, but Grace still had not.
