Name:
Ainsley 'Lee' Auden
Age:
17
Gender:
Female
Orientation:
Extremely Closeted Lesbian
Ethnicity/Country:
Caucasian / Ontario, Canada
Personality:
Lee grew up in a very active family with an older brother, so it was only natural for her to become competitive. She's an incredibly sore loser. The only person that she can lose graciously to is her older brother.
Lee isn't a terribly sympathetic person when it comes down to it, as she believes that everyone needs to deal with what's on their own plate first. Likewise, she doesn't like to speak honestly about her family, unless it's about her dad. Lee guards her thoughts obsessively.
She loves tinkering with various objects to see what makes them work and she generally takes small gadgets apart just to see if she can put them back together. She usually can't.

History:
Lee has always grown up in the same area around the outskirts of Ontario. Her childhood was relatively normal, consisting of being teased by her older brother (who is six years older than she is) and being doted upon by her father.
Her mother, Chrissa, was a high-ranking graduate of FMS after specialising as a Psychic. Her brother, William, previously attended FMS but was kicked out after things got too 'difficult' and his trouble-making reached its peak. He maintains that he would have dropped out anyway. Her father, on the other hand, has never really had a knack for magic- he works as a cook at a nearby restaurant and other than occasionally using a spell that his wife taught him for multiplying ingredients, he doesn't care for it much.
Lee's relationship with her mother is one of the reasons that she absolutely and utterly detests psychics. Once Lee was old enough to 'grow out of' being so boyish and subsequently didn't, Chrissa began to obsessively check Lee's thoughts in an effort to figure out what was wrong with her only daughter. This was during Lee's first relationship with another girl and, terrified of being outed, she had to break it off. For a period of time, she tried to dress in a more stereotypically feminine fashion before her mother read her thoughts, realised that it wasn't genuine and confronted her about it. However, she still brings her few skirts and dresses out of the back of the closet whenever her mother visits.

Appearance:
Lee makes a point of dressing boyishly, although she has been known to wear dresses or skirts to formal events if her arm is twisted enough. However, on a daily basis, she wears blazers, dress shirts and vests with jeans or slacks. Her converse are the only facet of her wardrobe that never change, even if her mother is visiting.
Her hair is cut in a short, choppy style that serves to make her seem slightly more androgynous than she is. She generally can't be bothered to fuss with her hair other than dying it every once in a while. It's naturally a dark brown/black colour and as soon as it reaches too far below her ears, she gets it cut back again. She gels the back portion up whenever she feels like it, which isn't terribly often, but she does quite like the texture.
Lee hates her thighs and her hips ('child bearing hips', as her mother likes to remind her) but she doesn't really mind the size of her chest very much. She doesn't want to be a man, she just doesn't want to look like too much like a woman. Don't worry- it doesn't make much sense to her either.

How did she get into FMS?:
Her mother arranged for her to be teleported in as soon as possible.
Other:
Since her father is a chef, she has picked up some general cooking skills. She loves making spicy things.
Her favourite classes are Kinetics and Physical Education. She can't stand anyone who specialises in psychics and makes a point of distancing herself. Lee also has a knack for Casting with Catalysts, even though she can't stand Voodoo or Potions itself. She considers it to be too manipulative. Ethics class, to her, is a load of horseshit. She usually skips it.
Lee loves running in the morning, if she can be bothered to wake up early enough.
