Name: Robert Weatherly
Age: 49
Gender: Male
Ethnicity/Country: Washington, United States.
Position of staff: History
Length of time been in job: Hes been teaching for over thirty years, but hes only been teaching history for about eighteen.
Personality: Mr Weatherly [as he preferrs to be called} can be quite irritable at times. He doesnt have a 'good side' for one to get on. He doesnt hold one student more important than another, and -in fact- finds them all worthless shells of a body. His philosophy is that once they finally learn all they possibly can and they finally develop into who they will be for the rest of their lives, then they will be accepted in his book. But now -at this point in life- he cannot stand them, and tends to take his anger out on them. It has even been reported that hes gotten physical with students, hitting their hands and slapping them in the back of the head when they least expect it.
Out of class, he can be quite kind and polite to the older folks. Adults, mostly. Hes single, his wife having died long ago. He gets very lonely at times, and does odd and end things such as puzzles and reading books. Over the years, he has gathered quite the library of literature. He hopes to find someone he can love, but doesnt get his hopes up.
History: Mr Weatherly grew up in a small town in Washinton, where bread was five cents a loaf and kids were put to work in the feilds. He got married young -at eighteen- to his sweetheart, a beautiful young woman. When he was away on buisness -lecturing a class in England- his house caught fire and his wife of only eight years burned to death. He gets emotional about it to this day, sometimes finding the loss of her hard to live with. But he hopes to take that pain and make it into something that can help others, by helping them and giving them advice. He misses her terribly, and sometimes takes it out on the students.
Appearance: Hes an elderly man, not quite old, but not young either. His face shows few lines, though his hair is grey with age. His eyes are sharp, seeing all. He wears suits and ties, refusing to take on the casual look during work. He believes it tells the students that he is leanient and careless, when he is really strict and goes by the book - no acceptions.
Other: He can be tamed, calmed down, but it takes awhile of getting used to you. Hes not quite as rough as he tries to put off. He is strict in his ways, firm in his beliefs. And he may never change from the hard-headded, heartbroken old man he believes himself to be.
