The music played over the speakers, filled with jingling bells and sweet vocals about the true meaning of Christmas, and snow, and kissing loved ones out in the cold.
And then, 'Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto'.
LUCINDA;;
The girl sighed, peering over the edge of the ladder, pausing in the intricate movements of her hands to wonder faintly at what song was playing currently.
'I've got a secret, I've got a secret'...
The female grinned at her mirror image waiting below.
"Oh my god, sis, I love you."
Without waiting for an answer, she returned to making the gestures. The string of lights floating before her continued stringing themselves above the entrances, placing themselves where she told them to, and blinking cheerfully as they did so. As the song bumped into the chorus, the lights started blinking in tune to the song, causing some of the people who were walking down below to laugh quietly. Or, it might have been the ridiculous Santa hat placed on Lucinda's head, waving back and forth every couple of seconds as if it had a life of it's own...
ESTELLA;;
"You're welcome, sis." she echoed back, adjusting her own reindeer horns and pulling at her own black and white checkered miniskirt. While she held the ladder steady, she watched the others walk by with wreaths and various little holiday related things. They were all volunteers: decorating the school for the winter was always fun. Plus, if something ever shorted out, it was best to have the twins around.
"I love being useful." Estella said, mostly to herself, though another girl walking by nodded her head in agreement. As she walked away, Estella waved her hand, turning the music up on the radio. It was her own personal holiday mix... not to say there weren't unholiday songs on it, as evidenced by the sudden playing of 'Sexyback'.
She could hear her sister's squeals of glee from above her.
