Lily-Mae's eye widened and her gaze dropped to the floor. She hadn't thought he would have seen the scars. She opened her mouth to speak, but was chocked back for a moment. After several seconds she opened her mouth again. "My mother," she whispered. She held her arms out for Anto to see, but kept her eyes on the floor. It took a lot for her to bite the tears back. The scars started at the inside of both of her elbows and ran down to her wrist. They varied in size, but all seemed to be made by using a sharp object.

Antosha nodded and covered her arms with his hands. "It's alright." he saidm pulling the distressed girl into an embrace. Normally he wouldn't do such a thing, but he had just made a girl cry so it was a special circumstance. Part of him wanted to know the details of what happened, however he knew better then to ask. Either her mother had cut her, or the girl had inflicted the wounds herself. Whichever one it was, Antosha wasn't ready to deal with something like that.

Lily-Mae tensed in Antosha's embrace and than slowly began to relax. She closed her eyes for a moment and did what she usually did. Which was to bottle up her emotions. She knew that this was a bad thing to do, but she had learned young to keep everything inside and under control. "Thank you," she whispered softly into his shirt.

Anotsha raised an eyebrow at the girl's control of her emotions. "That's not good for you, one of these days that bottle is going to break." he said seriously, letting the girl go. He turned her so he could look her in the eyes, knowing she would probably look away from him.

Lily-Mae shifted her eyes to the floor. She took a moment to be able to look him in the eyes. "I didn't do this to myself," she said as her right hand traced the scars on her left arm. "You learn different abilities to protect yourself," she added, "I don't want to be hurt again." Her eyes showed both a sadness and yet still trying to hide it.

Antosha shook his head, feeling the sadness himself. "Your gift still is not good for you, someday your going to have to talk about it." he said seriously, then he turned around. Noticing Mayu had slipped away at some point earlier.

Lily-Mae tilted her head to the side, "I don't want to talk about it and where did Mayu go to?" She glanced around for a moment somewhat confused as to how she could just disappear without either one of them noticing it. I can't believe I didn't notice that she left the room, she thought to herself.

"Probably teleported." Antosha smiled, knowing she went to go find Melville. Then he grimaced, little sneak! She KNEW she wasn't suppose to see Melville, so now she chooses to break that rule? 'Oh, when I get my hands on her...' he swore to himself, mentally growling.

Lily-Mae put her hand on Antosha's arm, "I'm sure she is fine." She smiled reassuringly. She picked the book about simple potions that he had gotten for her up. "Thanks for reaching this again. I'm so short," she said with a frown.

"She might be fine now, but she's dead once I find her." Antosha muttered, looking darkly off in the corner. The he shook his head, forcing a smile onto his face. "It's fine, no problem. Next time, though, just use magic to bring it to your hands. Much easier." he said, still forcing a smile.

Lily-Mae let out a small laugh, "I will keep that in mind." She than frowned slightly, "I wish magic could help me in being able understand potions better. I'm more of physical kind of magic. The last time I tried making a simple invisibility potion. Well, lets just say it went very wrong."

"Maon could help you. He's the smartest guy here." Antosha smiled, shaking his head slightly. It was a shame she couldn't master potions. But then again everyone seemed to only master one subject, it seemed so natural that way. Only people like Maon could really master all subjects.

"He sounds like someone I'd feel rather dumb standing next to," Lily-Mae said with a smile, "I'm hoping if I read the simple books it will help me. I am an ace at remembering everything I read and fighting. So, if i absolutely cannot comprehend this, I just might have to take that." She sighed and shook her head at herself.

Antosha laughed, smiling at Lily. "It's alright, everyone feels dumb around him. Anyway. I'm Anto, gay, and a Necro artist." he smiled at his little introduction, he should remember that for the next time he met someone new. If their mortal, he would have to leave out the part mentioning Necro, but oh well.

"Great," Lily-Mae said as she made a face,"note to self. never stand next to Maon." She smiled at his new introduction and made up her own, "I'm Lily-Mae, straight, and instead of putting what I'm good at since you all ready know, insert i breed seahorses in there somewhere." She smiled again.
