She felt patronised; of course she knew what was happening, she'd witnessed it all first hand. "A guide is a loose spirit until bound, or after it's bound..." she said slowly, feeling like his words bilittled her pain.
She frowned. As much as she wanted to fight him and protect him, the idea of getting rid of Mathew once and for all was too tempting. Could she really risk his life for hers though? She looked down; he was risking his own life, and it wasn't just for hers. It was for Mayu and Mel, Antosha and everyone else in the school eventually. "If this is such a brilliant idea why is Ms Jackson not doing it?" she said, finding herself doubtful.

"Ms. Jackson is a very busy woman." He answered. "An operation like the one I'm planning would take away alot of her time, and she has a job to do. So she has allowed me to go in her stead, provided I bring two people and a spirit guide." He yawned. I really need to start sleeping more. He thought. His lack of sleep might catch up to him someday.

She nodded and frowned, knowing exactly what Ms Jackson had wanted; she had wanted someone who she knew to trust and fear the spirit world. There were only three who Ms Jackson had known with spirit guides at that point, but she was no longer one of them. "You need Antosha or Brynn, and I can come too...." she said softly, looking down as she was hardly able to say that. How could she be willing to put herself in more danger? She gave a grim smile; it was impossible for her to be in more danger, but if she did this at least there might have been a slight chance to be freed from fear.

"Hm." Maon thought about who he was going to bring, smiling slightly. Looks like I've found my partners. "Since I do not know this Brynn fellow, I will take you and Antosha." He yawned. "But not today. I will need to prepare. Could you perhaps tell Antosha about this?"

She looked down at him; she was willing to be a help on this, but she would never do his dirty work. "Tell him yourself, if it's so important," she told him stubbornly, folding her arms. "If you can't even handle doing that then there's no way you can manage this." she said, glaring deeply at him. "You haven't even told me what the plan is, anyway."

"You never asked." He said innocently. "But if you must know..." He tilted his head. "We're going to find Rond." He had a feeling she didn't know who Rond was. Not many students, from any school, for that matter, cared about previous teachers. "He used to teach at this school, but he was sealed away for practicing necromancy on human corpses. If I'm correct, he might help us get rid of the other spirits."

She frowned, watching him judgementally. Perhaps Ms Jackson hadn't sent him out to succeed after all. "You're wanting a spirit to help us?" she asked, barely able to say it with a straight face. "One that wasn't even trustworthy in life?" she shook her head slowly. The last thing she needed was another Mathew.

Maon nodded. "Indeed. And the years he spent trapped probably didn't help his sanity." He shrugged. "But he's probably the only one who can tell us what we're up against, and with things like this we need every advantage we can get."

She looked down, putting her arm on the chair's arm and resting her hand on her forehead. "We already know what we're up against; a fuckload of angry spirits. If anyone of them is keeping their distance I would take that as a blessing..." she shook her head slowly, "Whatever, just... do what you will, and I'll tag along. I'd rather it be me then someone who's relatively safe," she said with a sigh.

Maon nodded. "Now all we need is Antosha." Maon thought about how he would get Antosha to help since Daine said she wouldn't do it. He sighed. That would mean looking around school for him.

Antosha sighed, scanning his room quickly. "Where art thou, fair miss Juliet?" He called gently, using old english just to make her laugh. It worked, she appeared quickly. "Romeo. Thy far fairer mistress is in search of thou." she laughed, flickering in and out of view. "Ahhh, Antosha. While your at it? Your bandage is slipping." she said, pointing to his wrist. Antosha sighed, shifting the white material to better cover the already fading red line. "Library?' he asked, watching her nod. He sighed again, teleporting himself into the place.
Where would she be? Julie floated behind him, still visible to almost everyone. Finally Antosha located her, with the silent boy. Hadn't he went to the pub all those months ago? He sighed, slipping into the floor beside her feet. "You called?" he asked, nodding at Julie to fade away before she was spotted.

She put her hands up in protest, not at all in her usual joking self. "I don't know, ask Maon." she said through gritted teeth, trying to stay out of this as much as possible. There was no way that she was getting any more involved then she needed to.

Maon shrugged, looking at Antosha. "I don't remember doing so yet, but it seems I have. We were just talking about you." He noticed something flicker in the corner of his eye. "And you. I was hoping I could get your help."

"Who are you talking to.. Maon?" He focused to try and remember the boy's name. Julie looked scared, falling further out of sight. Could he see her? It wasn't possible that he could. No one but Anto could see her when she didn't want them to. Antosha bristled, setting up barriers around his guide. It was his job to protect her form humans, and hers to protect him from spirits. If this guy could see her, then he must be a threat. Threats must be eliminated.

Maon waved at Antosha, motioning for him to calm down. "Don't worry. I can't see them. But I have a feeling they are here. Am I right?" He honestly didn't know, but he had afeeling that if a spirit guide was a 'guide', as the name implied, that it wouldstay close by.
