Zane perused the various books looking for none in particular. He sipped the chai tea in his hand while fixing his hair. Today he hadn't cared to put his contacts in settling for a small pair of glasses instead. He wore a scarf draped around his shoulders, a plaid shirt and some distressed jeans. As well as his glasses, which added a sophisticated look.
He was around the nonmagical section of the library looking for some books to feed his imagination, maybe some classic literature, sci-fi, or even modern literature. He saw the title "Twilight" Passing it up. He noticed an old version of "Romeo and Juliet" He did enjoy a bit of Shakespeare but the story just made him angry. All of this unrequited love was almost stupid. Love was nothing more than chemical reactions in the brain, stupid to believe in "soul mate" more like "brain mate". That sounded corny in his head. However there wasn't much choice so he reached up for it on his tiptoes. Just a few inches short. Damnit, his brother would surely be able to reach it. He placed his drink on the shelf behind him
Zane looked left and right for a stool but found none. He tried to climb the case but he ended up falling on his butt. "Ouch." The thump echoed out a bit as he received a glare from an old librarian he gave and embarrassed wave as she turned back to her desk. Zane got up looking at the stupid book. "I hate you so much book shelf." He muttered quietly. "One of these days..." He huffed out. It was quiet when he made one last attempt jumping up knocking some books down trying to reach it, none of which where the one he wanted. He slipped on a fallen book hitting his butt again. "This is not my day."

Antosha looked around the library, feeling stupid. He was dressed in his usual attire, black on black. Metal on white plastered skin. Two balls of fur shot under his feet, one a massive black thing while the other was a tiny orange poof ball. It was easy to tell which one was being harrassed, the large one of course. Everyone knew it was against rules for pets, but everyone also knew that no one followed that rule. Even the teachers knew.
"Boo! Sara! Luna! Gwen!" he hissed out, waiting for one of the animals to come forward. Antosha groaned, walking further into the library, repeating his call. Finally he stumbled onto someone, sorta familiar. But he didn't press to hard to locate a name. "Want help?" he asked, reaching up easily for the book the boy was obviously reaching for. A black fur ball launched itself at Antosha's feet, yelling loudly in it's kitty voice. "Hey, Boo."

Zane was on his butt as he looked up at the stranger who so easily got his book. "No I can do it by myself thank you." It wasn't that he didn't like the guy; it was that this was a test that he needed to pass on his own. No exceptions, no distractions, no..."Kitty!" He exclaimed looking at the ball of black fur. He reached out stopping halfway "Can I pet it please?" He was on his knees looking at the adorable feline in front of him.

Boo solved the question by purring loudly, rubbing his feline face against Zane's. "Guess your okay then..." he didn't add plus gay since it seemed rude, but Boo only liked gay men. Antosha kneeled down beside the boy, still holding out the book that had caused promblems. "Anyway, meet Boo. My room mate." he gave a laugh, gentle ruffling Boo's fur.

Zane smiled petting Boo eyeing the book. "It's not that I don't like you, uhm person but can you put that book back? I see it as a test today that I need to pass. To prove what? I don't know." He explained to him. "It's silly yes but that's how I see it." He mumbled scratching Boo behind the ears as he fixed his scarf. "I wish I had a roommate like this." He said quietly with a smile. "Oh yea I'm Zane." He said without looking up.

Antosha smiled, pushing the book back where he found it before kneeling back, petting his own cat. "I'm Antosha, call me Ant or Anto. Don't care which." he gave a sly smile, motioning for little Gwen to come out of her hiding spot behind him. "You really could have your own room mate like these, all you gotta do is find one." He smiled again as the tiny cat tackled big old Boo for fun. Watching as the two ran off after one another, jumping off the furniture.

Zane smiled. "Hello Antosha." He watched the two run off as he turned his attention back to the book. He successfully scaled the bookshelf this time grabbing the book before falling on his butt again. He held it up in triumph. "Yes!" To celebrate he pulled out a pink lady apple biting into the rosy skin savoring the flavor. "I thought pets were illegal here though?"

Antosha couldn't help but laugh, leaning against the bookself. Hoping it wouldn't collapse under his weight. "You think that stops us? I know I have Boo, a girl name Maria owns that little kitten you saw rushing by, the cat's name is Gwen by the way. Let's see, and her twin brother, Mathew, owns Sara the only dog so far. His room mate has a snake, oh! My ex room mate has our baby, Luna. So yeah, you can have a pet, no worries." he gave a smile, looking around the room for any other animals.

Zane widened his eyes. So many animals. "Wow...hm." He said biting into the apple again with a smile. "Maybe I'll get a turtle or bird or something." He said in ponder. Matthew, he'd heard that name before. Matthew was that amazing godly looking boy at the bar. He melted for a second before realizing that it was stupid of him to think such things. "Dog?" He looked worried. "I'm terrified of dogs." He said looking around.

Antosha smiled, throwing his arm around Zane protectively. "No worries, if your with me. Your safe. Sara hates me." he gave Zane a reassuring squeeze of the shoulders before looking around himself. He couldn't even remember why he was here, not that it mattered. He had found someone to talk to that didn't run away at the first sight of his peircings. "I'd have to agree with you though, Matt does have a godly demur about himself. Huh, is demur even the right word? Oh well, but anyway. Yeah, Mathew's insanely hot, but totally spoken for. He and his room mate have a little thing going, not sure how long that'll last though." Antosha gave Zane a wink, not knowing how he'd take to gossip. Not that it was gossip, since it was true.

Zane looked at him. "Huh.." He blushed. "How did you know I was thinking about...uhm." He looked sideways taking the hug as friendly. "Well it's ok anyways liking someone is stupid so I'm stupid for even thinking anything." He said quietly. "It's all chemical reactions in the brain anyways, there’s no such thing as soul mates." He shrugged. "Anyways he doesn't like me like that I'm sure." He said the blush still lingering thinking about Matthew. Zane bit into the apple not tasting as good in his mouth anymore. Why was he getting worked up over something so small?

Antosha paused, thinking it over. Might as well, it didn't mean anything to him. Hopefully he wouldn't go ape-crappers like Diane did. "Well, my doors almost always open if you need to talk. Knock first though, in case my boyfriends over." he gave the boy a smile, gently kissing his cheek before taking a nibble of the apple. "Yummy!"

Zeke blushed at the sudden kiss and nibble of his apple. He didn't like the boy but he was sure friendly. "Uhm thanks..." He said quietly looking down. He bit the apple a last time before finishing it off. With a finger snap the core was gone. He grabbed his latte, which was now luke warm as he took a sip. Zane stood up picking a few of the knocked down books up as he watched the two cats dart around each other. "Anyways I guess I should go it was nice meeting you Anto." He said with a smile.

Antosha shrugged, scooping up the two cats in one arm while snatching a third that came darting by. "I should probably get everyone back to their room too. See you around?" he asked, not really waiting for an answer as the final animal came bouncing around the corner. The dog growled at Antosha, but was easily lead out the door. She turned her head and gave a short bark at Zane before rushing out the door after Antosha.

Zane freaked when the dog came stiffing up holding the book tightly to his chest like it would shield him. Luckily when Anto left teh dog did too. He let out a sigh of relief as he went to go check the book out.
