Kit walked uncomfortably down the hallways. It was difficult for him to study magic while he wasn't in a lesson, and he felt like a nerd. This wasn't exactly homework of any kind, and it was only the truly nerdy ones that ever took over the lesson rooms outside of lessons.
Kit blushed and looked down. He never considered himself like that, but he wasn't so sure anymore. His childlike fascination for magical trinkets had gotten him bullied more times than he would admit to. Sometimes he felt like giving up, finding the best one for his style of magic and throwing the rest away, but he could never come up with a favourite.
He stepped into the classroom. He could at least get rid of some, couldn't he? The kenetics classroom was the only one with protection and targets for him to practice his magic on. He walked to the nearest desk, unzipping his bag as a tidy collection poured out. He sighed. Time to grow up, Kit, he told himself, taking the first one - a very traditional, Harry Potter-style wand. He slipped it into his hands, examining it, before pointing it at the straw manikin. Quickly, it burst into impressive looking blue flames.
He looked down at the wand. "We'll put that as a maybe..." he said slowly, putting it to one side, realising this may take a while.

Andrew had been sitting in the classroom for well over an hour, a teacher appointed punishment. Like he could be responsible for the entire wall to go up in flames? Well, technically he was, but Andrew would never admit it to a teacher. Pile of homework were laid out in front of him, two piles for every subject, and right by his hand was a jar of sharpened pencils. It was if they expected him to do something during detention.
He yawned, laying his head on the pile of Potions homework and stared at the door. A small flame appeared, slowly growing in size has he stared longer. Then it disappeared as the door was rudely opened by another male no doubt gay. "Hey! I was working here!" his voice was barely above a whisper as he attempted anger at the male. With that done he grew bored again, so he turned his attention to the guy. Imagining vines slowly and steadily creeping up his arms and legs. It took ages, but eventually the vines started growing, but unfortunately for the guy.. They had thorns. Andrew chuckled, staring at him through the cascade of hair.

Kit looked over to the boy, putting down the wand on the desk. "Sorry, but I did kind of need this room..." he excused himself feebly, trying to put up some kind of a fight. He had been walked on all of his life, not that he minded particularly, but he had been telling himself to grow a backbone, and when he wanted something he should take it. Not that he particularly wanted to now that he knew it was treading on someone else's toes...
He looked down, feeling a sharp, tight pain in his legs, and then at his arms. He looked up at the boy, guessing from his little reaction that it was him causing it. And yet he was still unable to blame him without evidence.
He pulled his arm away from the vine, ignoring as it scraped along his skin. His fingers swam across the maze of items, before finally picking out one that seemed useful. A small black rock which seemed to beat with a red heart when his hand came near it. Yes, it was technically not allowed in the school, but it was one of his favourites.
He pressed the rock against the vines, and with little effort they shrivelled up and died. He brushed back the grey ash. "If you wanted me to leave, you could have just asked," he commented sourly.

Andrew shrugged, pointing to the piles of homework. "Detention, dude." he commented, ignoring the rock. So what if it killed his vines? Big fucking deal, just made his more of a wuss to use a ROCK to kill his vines. Andrew smirked, looking up at him calmly. "Hows the boytoy, Kit? You liking that? Or is he too big for you to handle?" he asked, leaning against the chair to prop his legs up.

Kit looked around himself. It was an odd kind of detention to not even have a teacher watching over you. He wasn't sure if he was meant to leave him or not, but figured the teacher would have notified them if they couldn't use the room. And if not, well they should have used the detention room, he figured.
He gave a hollow smile, expressions of frustration in his eyes. They would almost appear hateful, but Kit could never feel anything that negitive. Just mildly irritated. He had wandered through the school almost completely unnoticed for years, and now as soon as he had a boyfriend everyone suddenly seemed to want to talk to him - or at least about him. "Fine, thanks," he told him warmly, turning back to his wands and rings and stones. Firing back would only make the rumors spread faster, as he had learnt well from Crys.

Andrew stood up, walking swiftly behind the boy. "Ever thought of cheating?" he purred, wrapping his arms around Kit and pinning his wrists away from the items. Not that Andrew was scared of them, but it was better safe then sorry in the case of magic. He smirked, leaning down to kiss Kit's neck, lips barely brushing his skin.

Kit froze, the feeling of the boy so close to him suddenly running through his body, setting his nerves on fire. But it was far from pleasant. His eyes narrowed suddenly, the memory of abuse that he thought he had finally buried away setting a fire through his body. It had started so similarly...
He poured all of his adrenalline filled strength into his arm, twisting it back as he pushed himself back, punching him with his elbow to the boys stomach. Whether it hit or not, he pulled himself away quickly, running to the other side of the table, a spell quickly making his trinkets fire through the air and back into his bag. He refused to keep his eyes off Andrew, breathing in heavy breaths, waiting for the spell to complete as he grasped onto the table. "Stay away from me..." he threatened him. [/font]

Andrew laughed, rubbing at the large cut the boy had caused. "Jesus christ. Freak out much? It was a joke." he growled, reaching across the table for him. "I won't tell anyone, about you and him. And about what happened. I'm not a gossip whore." he muttered, grabbing his Ipod and jumping for the door. "I can keep secrets." he blew a kiss at Kit and jumped out the door, causing the wood to burst into flames at his touch.

Kit watched him leave for a few moments, holding onto himself as he tried to cool the breathing. He'd reacted completely irrationally, driven by his fears. He thought he was over it. He thought that everything was working out, but nothing ever would.
The spell completed itself, as he pulled the bag onto his back, holding onto the table for support for just another few moments, trying to gather his thoughts. Andrew was out there, and many more like him. The world was more horrific than he'd dare think. He pushed himself away, walking down the corridors quickly.
