"What is this crud?! I wouldn't feed this to a dog if it was starving!" A loud clatter was heard as Skod, in another one of it's foul moods, picked up it's plate and dropped it as it complained about the cafeteria's food. It had stretched it's body so that it 'sat' next to Remi, instead of hovering over his head. Remi watched Skod with a mysterious smile as it stabbed it's lasagna repeatedly with it's fork. "Calm down. The food is delicious, like it is every day." He sliced off a piece of his own lasagna and took a bite, closing his eyes with pleasure as he chewed for emphasis. "See?" Skod stared at it's lasagna for a while, then began stabbing it again, but with slightly less enthusiasm. Remi sighed. 'Oh well, I tried.' He thought.

Antosha jumped on his skateboard, glad to be back to the basics. Yeah, this was a magic school. But sometimes a boy just needs to do something mortal, skateboarding to the Caf` seemed perfect. His foot pushed of the ground, propelling him faster into the room. The wheels slid against the tiles, spinning almost out of control. He laughed, stopping just by the boy with that shadow on his back. The shadow was complaining, big shocker. The teachers sometimes would complain about these two, very loudly. "Hey." he mumbled, sliding into the seat that didn't have anything in it.

Remi and Scod looked up at the person who had sat at their table. Remi flashed a smile, tilting his head slightly. "Hi. Have we met? I-" "Hey, who are you!?" Scod interupted. It leaned foreward to face the newcomer, glaring and trying to find out who he was. "You look farmiliar. Are you that guy who threw that paper ball at me?" It looked at him at diffrent angles, shaking it's head after a while. "Couldn't be. You don't have that scar." It backed away. Remi waited a few seconds then, sure it was done, continued. "I can't quite remember. I'm Remi." He looked at Scod. It looked up at him, then looked at Antosha. "Scod. Remember it."

Antosha stared at the figures, Scod it was called? He knew better then to gloat it, but for some reason that seemed like a great idea. These two were quite funny, though one seemed more dominate then the other. “Nice to meet you, I’m Antosha. But please, call me Anto or Ant, whichever you prefer.” He said calmly, smiling at the two. Maybe he should tell them he’s gay, but they were probably homophobic, or were they? Oh well, who knew what they were like. Antosha studied the boy’s face, well Remi’s anyway, with hidden emotions. The boy was okay looking, but defiantly not Brynn. He could see why a girl might go out with him, once they got passed Scod.

Scod stared at Ant for a while, then it's mouth opened in a smile, it's teeth too big to be normal. "Ah yes, Ant will do. Small and weak, and unable to do things by yourself. And blind to what's in front of you, only seeing what your predecessor's deemed worthy to be see-" Remi gently hit Scod on the head, silencing it. It glared at Remi for a while, then looked away, giving it's form of grimacing. It would continue later, like it always did. "I'm sorry about him." Remi said, looking at Ant. "He's never been the nicest of people." Scod nodded. "'Cuz I'm not a person."

Antosha laughed, grinning at the two. "I am not an ant, besides, ants are stronger then shadows. It's alright Rem, no harm done." he shrugged, reaching over and grabbing Scod's plate. The food looked great, Anto brought a slice to his mouth to eat it. It looked as good as it tasted, leaving nothing to be desired.

Scod's eyes opened in a mixture of surprise ad anger when Ant at it's food. "Hey, I was eating that!" It exclaimed angrily. Remi shook his head, looking down at Scod. "No, you weren't. I distinctly remember hearing you say that you wouldn't eat it, that it was 'crud.'" Scod glared at Remi for a second, then reached forward and grabbed it's plate, holding it close and turning so it's back faced Ant. "Then you heard wrong." It opened it's mouth wide, letting it's tongue hang out, and upended the plate's contents into it's mouth. It chewed a few times, swallowed, and turned around, putting the plate back onto the table. It shuddered slightly, then loosed a burp. "Nice." Remi mumbled, covering his mouth and waving the air in front of him.

Antosha laughed at Scod, knowing his trick had worked. "Yes Remi, he forced it down his throat. Oh, what's your schedule look like?" They all had the same classes but some people had it at different times or skipped most of the time. Was Remi even old enough to be in Necro yet?

Remi thought for a while, letting Scod torment the fly that had landed on it's plate. "Well, we go to all of the school's classes, switching lecture halls for hands-on classes every other day. But we often just get a typed version of the speech and the homework, because of Scod." Scod looked up from the now wingless fly and nodded. "I once sent a new teacher to the crazy hospital." It returned to the fly. "Indeed." Remi said, casting a glance at Scod before continuing. "It's because of that that we don't go to healing classes anymore."

"I have a friend who wouldn't mind teaching you. I think Seru might be able to put a block on Scod for when you have important classes." Antosha said, turning to Scod. "What are you doing to that fly?" he asked coldly, glaring at the offending thing. With a swipe he caught the injured fly, healing it quickly before it had died. His eyes, however, never left Scod's face as he released the fly from his fist.

Remi thought about Ant's offer. A teacher that could work with Scod would be the greatest thing in the world. He spaced out for a while, not very concerned about what Scod was doing. It was returning Ant's glare, angry that it's distraction had been taken away. "Having fun. I would have put it back together again, maybe with some additions."
