Jeremy had only been at the new school a day and he was finding things much more difficult than anticipated. He carried around a notebook constantly, something he wasnt used to. If he couldnt communicate with his hands, what use was he to anyone? They used their mouths, their ears to keep in touch with one another. While Jeremy used his hands in a series of motions that helped him communicate to the other around them. But they never seemed to understand him. And worse, if they thought he was ignoring them by not paying attention, they could get violent.
So far, this school hadnt been too bad, although the writing thing was getting on his nerves. He sat his notebook down beside his lunch tray, looking down at the food. It wasnt the most appitizing thing he had ever seen, but he supposed it would do. He picked up his fork, poking it cautiously before taking a small bite.

The cafeteria was abnormally full today. Many people preferred to take their lunch outside and eat it about the school lawn. Then again, it was clowdy. And he was sure many of these girls -and even a few boys- were afraid of getting their hair wet. That might ruin their whole entie life, you know.
Kurt sat beside a boy, a brave boy. He was actually eating the schools food. Kurt groaned, pushing his plate at the boy. The food was extremely grotesque to him right about now. Or maybe it was just because of the crowded lunch room.
"Eat your heart out, man." He mumbled, laying his head down on the table. His thoughts turned to Zane -as they typically did- then to the girl he had ressurected. His stomach turned again, the thought of the girl making him completely sick.
And this was why he hated women.

Jeremy looked at the boy quizically, wondering why he had chose to sit beside him. The cafeteria was half empty, the sun shining bright outside. Everyone was outside. Jeremy just wasnt because he couldnt hear them yelling at him to get out of their way.
I cant hear you. Jeremy wrote on his notebook in his big, block handwriting. He looked over at the boy, wondering if he would as why. Jeremy quickly scribbled below it.
Im deaf. He placed the pencil down atop the notebook, then went back to eathing his lunch.

Drayton needed people, people to talk to. This whole "Be gay or go home" thing was really annoying him. He bounced into the café thing the school was offering, sniffing at the glob they were calling food. Oh well, it was food. Dray piled his plate high before running over to a free table. It was the only one with empty seats. ‘Hi!’ he signed to the boy with the notebook, hoping he wasn’t mistaken in thinking that he was deaf.
Without further ado he plunged into the food, taking a rather large bite. “I’mm Druhtoohn” he mumbled, choking down the blob. “I’m Drayton” he stated, smiling at the other boy who was obviously busy thinking about something else. "I see food." he said, stabbing at the plate between them with his fork. He might be tiny but his flamboyent attitude required loads of energy.

Jeremy looked up as the boy sat down, and the other stood and walked off. Something about the other boy seemed rude. But the one who had just sat down seemed nice enough.
'Hello.' He signed, eyeing the food with disgust, but eating it still. He hadnt eaten anything in days, and he was nearly starved to death. He took a large bite out of what he assumed to be lasanga. After much chewing, he decided it some sort of caserole. He hated caserole. He pushed it away, staring on the macaroni and cheese. It was good enough. But nothing to write home about, that was for sure.
'Im Jeremy.'

'Drayton, at your service. Gay or Straight?' He shot a smile at the boy, bouncing up and down in his chair. Dray was getting bored, which was never good, he looked around. Hopefully there would be someone near by for a quick makeout session, or would he have to resort to the males? He thought about it seriously, gagging down another blob of the suspicious looking meat. Dray looked at the boy in front of him, would this even suffice for something fun to do??

'I go both ways.. I just like boys more.' He signed quickly, looking down in shame. He knew he shouldnt be ashamed of who he was, but he was. He was a deaf, dumb mess. And he hated himself for it. And as if it couldnt make matters worse, he liked boys alot more than he liked girls. And if he had his choice in the matter, it would be a boy he was with.
'But dont worry about me. Im not sticking around.' He said as he stood, realizing the boy was looking for something more important than he could ever be. He grabbed his notebook and tray and looked down at he half eaten food.
