He looked at her, smiling and leaning forwards and telling her, "Of course you can," taking a small kiss from her lips as his own, looking into her eyes for a moment, checking if she was going to cry or not. "Come here," he said, though she didn't have much choice as he pulled her gently into an embrace, kissing her soft hair.

Mayu froze, biting her lip softly. "I don't want to go anywhere yet." she said quietly, finding herself closer to Mel. Without thinking she felt herself, almost literally, throwing her arms around Mel, trying to keep from clinging to him. She knew how uncool she must have been acting, but at the same time she really could careless, because Melville was there and that's really all that mattered.

He held onto her, refusing to let her go, holding her fragile body in his arms. Only if he felt her pull away would he let go, and even then he would struggle. "It's OK..." he shushed her, rubbing her back softly, "Hey, are you not wanting to get some more sleep though? You look knackered..."

"Me sleep? Are you kidding, you must be because there is no way I'm going to bed. Unless it is yours." she mumbled. Mayu gently leaned against him, glad she wouldn't have to support her own weight for much longer.

He frowned, scooping her up carefully so that she could lean into him and still lie down properly, hoping that she would fall asleep. "Well, you can have my bed... I'm sure Salem would have a laugh at that... but I need to go to training soon, and you really need sleep..." he said, running his fingers through her hair thoughtfully.

Mayu sighed, feeling herself fall asleep even though she didn't want to. "You'll come back though?" she asked, suddenly worried he wouldn't. It was an irrational fear, but she couldn't help it. Sometimes she just got scared for no reason, besides, he was saying sleep in the same room as Salem, alone? Yeah, that sounded like tons of fun.

He continued to run his hand through her hair, trying to make it as soothing as possible. "Yeah, 'course." he promised her, smiling down at her. He wanted to lean down and kiss her, but he would have to move her to do that, and he he didn't want to stir her too much.

She looked up at him and made herself move, sitting up to his level. "Be careful." she said, looking at him carefully. Mayu knew a part of her was scared for Melville, but he could take care of himself couldn't he? She watched him with heavy eyes, feeling them almost half closed in her attempt to stay awake. It was probably best that she had come here, most definitely best.

He watched her closely, before leaning in closer and kissing her softly on the lips. It felt like pain to bring himself out of the kiss, but he knew how tired she was. "Don't worry about me," he said, pulling himself off the seat and holding out his hand for her. "You know where my room is, yeah?" he asked.

"Of course, just listen for Salem." she gave a weak smile and gratefully took his hand. "You must go though." Mayu said, looking a little sad. Once she was out for the seat she gave him a small kiss on the cheek and reached for he things, most of which were still in the backpack. Give appearance of going to his room and then crash out here, or in the hall, whichever one was closer.

He smiled, barely able to let go of her hands and fall away. "I'll see you soon..." he said, walking backwards out of the room as far as he could before he finally had to turn away from her and leave.
