Brynn spent most of the day in the main lobby making small talk with a few people. Luckily, avoiding De and Ant. He was heading up to his room now for some sleep before he recalled his tarot card reading. It was strangely accurate and a bit daunting. However he promised that he'd talk to Lynn.
He wanted too though. So Brynn made his way down another hall thinking now what exactly he'd say to Lynn. Would he reveal everything to him? They'd just met so would that be awkward? He didn't want to dump all his problems on Lynn. But he needed to talk to someone who didn't know. Someone who could offer a new perspective.
So he finally was in front of Lynn's door his fist poised in the air ready to knock. He hesitated but instead did. He knocked three time listening to see if he could hear someone inside.

One eye opened quietly, before the lithe pale boy gave a tremendous yawn.
Most of the time had been spent thinking over what had happened that morning. Brynn had seemed so distressed by that reading, and how he had reacted so highly. Why? He had just met the guy. Maybe it was because...
Knocking. That was what had awakened him. Shocking the drowsiness out of his system, Lynn scrambled over to the door, opening it and thanking himself for falling asleep in his clothes. It was Brynn.
"Oh... hey." he said, running a hand through his messy hair. "I was just reading a book... c'mon in."
He gestured faintly to the room, and to the seats grouped around the small bookcases. Due to there being only one bed, there had been a lot of room for extravagances.
"Sit wherever you want."

Brynn waited patiently hearing Lynn behind the door and when he opened it, Brynn looked up. "Hey Lynn..." He said quietly walking into the spacious room. That was the best part about having your own room. He looked around taking a seat near the window. It was quiet for a few moments while Brynn collected his thoughts.
"Uhm, This morning with the reading." He started. "I was a bit surprised, it was accurate but to an extent confused me more." He said smiling faintly. "I'm sure you know already I like Antosha, and he like me. But there’s more too it." He looked out the window. "I mean we aren't exactly dating. I don't know if I want to." He looked at Lynn. "And your reading says someone needs to make a drastic change." Brynn looked down.
"When it boils down to it, I guess the choice is to make him my boyfriend or not." He said. "Because I'm confused I don't know if I like him." He was dropping so much so quickly but it was flowing from his mouth in torrents.

Lynn sat on the edge of his bed, listening quietly to what Brynn had to say. He was actually quite surprised to hear Brynn and Ant WEREN'T dating: by the way Ant had amorously embraced Brynn down under the underpass, he had been sure they had been dating for quite a while. And confusion? Lynn could almost laugh. So they were both confused, though perhaps in an entirely different sense.
"Well... my readings are always accurate." Lynn offered meekly, giving a small smile. "Though, in the loosest sense possible..."
He leaned back slightly, letting his hands support him.
"I don't really have a lot of experience in love, so I can't really give a lot of advice. I mean, I could say something stupid like 'Look into your soul', but that kind of stuff never really helps anybody."

Brynn was biting his nails smiling. “I’m sure, you’re a great reader. I think that’s the right noun for it.” Brynn smiled again. “I don’t know. Now Dianes getting on my case a little bit about it because she likes Anto too, or I think she does.” He admitted. “She’s telling me I only like his company and not him, but I think otherwise.” He said.
“Yea, my soul doesn’t have much to offer me anyways.” He gave a grin. “But I guess maybe…” Brynn looked down. “All I really needed was for someone to listen, now I feel bad for dropping all this on you.” He said giving a apologetic smile.

Lynn frowned, biting his lip.
"You shouldn't really let people tell you what you're feeling. It's kinda for you to decide, isn't it? I mean, as I see it, everybody has these two personalities, and they're both good for different things. The first one is the one that outside people see, and it's made up of how you want people to see you and it's influenced by other people and society. But then there's a personality underneath, and that's who you really are. You act that way when you're with people you trust... that should be the side you show when you're in love. And that's your true self, that's the one you have to listen to."
He pulled his knees to his chest, giving a small cough.
"Umm, yeah. It's no problem, really, I'm used to having other people spill."

Brynn listened closely. He was right. Who was Diane to tell him what he felt. He knew what he felt. "Your right." He said nodding. The next part was a bit of advice. What was his other personality, how would he know? "What if I don't know what my other personality feels like?” He said giving a worried look to Lynn. He sighed looking down.
"You shouldn't be used to it, too much bad news dumped on you can be harmful." He smiled. It was true though.

"Well... it's your gut instinct, I guess."
That was all Lynn could say... to be honest, he didn't know himself. At Brynn's warning, he gave a small chuckle.
"Before I discovered my magic ability, I kinda wanted to be a psychiatrist... help people with their problems, try to help them make sense out of their lives. Maybe I'll try and get back to that, once I graduate from here..."
He paused, then smiled at Brynn. "It's nice of you to care for me, but I try my best to not let my emotions get the best of my reason. I think I'll be fine."

Brynn smiled. Gut feeling huh? He sighed. This whole day left him with more questions than answers. "Well ok. Gut feeling it is." He smiled. "Really? I'm sure you'd be good at it, I want to be a chef of some sort, maybe teach." He said giving a faint smile. "I love cooking." He smiled. "I'll make you a delicious meal sometime, as a thankyou for that reading."
It was getting late and Brynn wondered if he should leave. "Wow, it's getting kind of late." He said out loud looking toward the window now black with the night sky.

A meal? Lynn couldn't help it: his thoughts filled with a romantic candlelit dinner. I might as well start wearing pink sweaters and liking cats, Lynn thought, giving a small sigh.
"That sounds great." he said, nodding. "I could totally see you being a chef..."
He paused, peering outside. The rain had finally stopped, leaving everything wet, but allowing a beautiful clear sky. The stars sparkled like diamonds.
"Look... I know this may seem confusing, but if you ever need to get more stuff off your chest, just come on over to my room? I'll probably be here if I'm not in class, and I'm always up for listening."
Lynn smiled; a warm smile, and a genuine one.
"You've got a friend in me."

"Thanks..." He said "I'll be back soon to give that meal." He smiled. Brynn looked out the window seeing the stars sparkling. This day had been confusing yet at the same time important. He needed to hear these things. It opened a new train of thought and maybe this would help him make a decision.'
Brynn smiled. "And you've got a friend in me." He said giving one last small smile before standing up. "Well I'm kind of tired I guess I should go get some sleep. Uhm..." He wondered whether or not to give him a hug. Would that be weird? His first thought was it would be a friendly hug, or it could turn horribly awkward. Instead he headed for the door. "Night Lynn." He smiled before disappearing behind the door.

Lynn watched him leave, and as the door closed behind him, he gave a deep sigh, collapsing back on his bed.
"I'm sooooooo fucked." he muttered faintly under his breath, running a hand through his hair. "How the hell can I give advice if I can't even follow it...?"
