Brynn was about to order when she gave him the note he was tempted to open it but decided against it. He walked up slowly to the counter dropping it in the jar as the girl looked at it and just nodded. "Uhm...a tall chai tea latte?" He asked as they went right to work getting it done in seconds. He walked back to the table looking at the drink as if it were from god. "How...How did you do that?" He asked quizzically.

She smiled and giggled, looking at his drink as she was impressed. It looked like something she would have been proud to drink. "Silly. I didn't do anything, you did," she said, feeling like a proud parent teaching their child how to do something on their own for the first time. "I hear it even works without the money, sometimes." she said. Not that she'd ever attempted anything without a lot of money to cushion her. "Just ask for what you want and look important enough to get it. Works like a charm."

Brynn looked surprised "So was there money in there or was it just paper?" He was new to this and it seemed so strange did people really just do that? He sipped the drink it tasted perfect in every way like they had made it special for him. Brynn placed it down fixing his scarf still amazed at this strange new girl.

She laughed, loudly and clearly, but only for a few seconds, "Of course, I stuck a couple of hundreds in there, I'm not cheap, you know...." she teased, though her smile proved that she was only winding him up. She looked around herself, pointing it out for Brynn to see, "The way I see is that you have all of those people behind the bar, the cleaner.... There are so many people so when you knock it all off it doesn't come to very much at all each." she said with a shrug. She wasn't particularly good at maths, and she certainly wasn't going to show herself up by estimating it all. "I have money to spend, why not give it to those that don't."

Hundreds? Brynn almost choked on his drink. "Wow..." He said placing the drink down. "So you just give them extra money?" He said not fully understanding much. However he felt she's explained enough for him to get an idea. Basically she gave them some extra bucks because she though they needed it right? That was a good thing to do of course.

She held onto her cup, feeling that it was starting to go cold already but taking another sip. "Mhmm...." she told him, nodding furiously. "When you grow up in my world, you realise that money, whatever the amount, is just short change. It-It gets a little lonely, sometimes..." she said, putting her cup down as it chimed sweetly as it hit the saucer. "Like..." she looked up, not quite sure how much to say. 'Talking' without gossiping or discussing men was still quite a new concept to her. Her eyelashes fluttered, ready for any sudden change, "I mean, this girl came up to me and I was all nice and said that I would be her friend and that I would pay for what she wanted, yada yada...." she trailed off, though her talking was starting to get to a very fast speed, "Well, she goes up to me and is all like 'I don't want it', and I was just like 'huh?'. And she was like, 'Yeah, I don't want any money'...." she paused her story, looking down into her drink and taking another sip, though she held the cup in her hands thoughtfully this time. "It just made me think... what is there that's real without money? It's really all I've ever known." she said, looking into the swirling frothy liquid, looking quite human beneath her layers of make-up.
