Melville smiled, putting his hands on her waist, running his fingers along the smooth curve and thinking about what lay beneath. "I forgot you went through my stuff..." he commented, leaning forwards and curling his arms up behind her, pulling her close to him and leaving no room for any other option. Their bodies would be close, whether she liked it or not. "Well, I'm sure there's a lot left to see, isn't there..." he whispered to her, pressing his cheek against hers, his words slipping into her ears. "A lot to remind ourselves of... For example, I am finding it hard to remember what you look like without clothes on. A little help, maybe?"

Mayu blushed deeply, trying to wiggle away so she could remove the offending shirt. "I-in the car?" she asked, ducking down to nuzzle his neck. She slipped her hands under her own shirt to rip it off, saving him a little time. "Mel... Does the skirt matter?" Mayu whispered, looking out the window as a group of people stopped and stared. She blushed, ducking into his arms again as she unhooked her own bra. It was a tiny black and lacy thing, matched her thong, but both itched like crazy.

Melville looked at her, and out of the window, his bright eyes glaring at the people. There was something so unnatural about them, and something so dominating about him that they quickly moved out the way, to pretend that they weren't watching. "You wanting to maybe move the car?" he asked, wondering if Mayu would be alright possibly getting arrested for indecent exposure... Not to mention who would more than likely be working in the police station.

Mayu shook her head, snuggling closer. "I'm good.." she mumbled, laying her head on his shoulder. "Might fall asleep though" she hadn't gotten much sleep, too much running back and forth between the school and Uncles house. It seemed that being dead wasn't an excuse to be left alone, not for something like sleep.

Melville twisted his arms around to hold her tightly. Come to think of it, maybe rest would be better; he wasn't sure if he had enough strength to hold himself. "Mayu..." he whispered in her ear, pressing his lips against her soft hair. "Lets just get back to yours or mine, yeah?" he asked her. "See what happens then?" he suggested, his fingers walking along her back. "I'll drive."

Mayu looked up at him, pouting slightly. "Does that require moving?.." she asked stupidly, wrapping one of his old jackets around her shoulders as something jingled. "Oh, baby. That reminds me. I Have the keys to this car, your Ka, and the newest one." She smiled, dangling the set of keys in front of his face. With a giggle she climbed into the backseat with the keys, ignoring the kitten on the floorboard.

Melville smiled, looking at the keys as he took them into his hands, hardly able to believe his luck. This girl had the looks, the body, the cars and the money. Was there anything that could be wrong with her. "You're amazing, you know that?" he told her, sliding himself onto the drivers side.
He looked at the car, a little disorientated. He had only ever driven two cars, his Ka and a small Clio that his driving instructor had had, not to mention that he had barely passed his test. He looked out onto the road ahead of them. Why did it have to be driving on the other side? "Right..." he muttered under his breath, putting the keys into the ignition. "I fucking hope I don't get us killed again..." he growled to himself. "Where the fuck's the-?" he looked around himself. Automatic. That was meant to be easier... right?
He pulled the car out, carefully turning it and starting the drive down, keeping his eyes fixed on the road. It was hard to see when they went past big crowds of people - possibly the worst time to lose sight - because of his eyes, but he tried as best he could to concentrate.

Mayu gasped, curling up into a ball as the crowds came by. It was a stupid plan to let HIM drive, there was bound to be a huge collision. She petted the kitten quickly, shaking as another semi came dangerously close to their car. "Be careful!" she screamed, closing her eyes as Mel swerved into the wrong lane, again. It might not be helpful to be a backseat driver, but a British guy could not drive here. She squealed again, ducking into the seat like she could disappear.

Melville gritted his teeth, his hands tightening along the steering wheel. He pulled up to the traffic lights as they turned red. He was starting to get the hang of it... eventually, though kept forgetting that he didn't have to change the gears. "Hun... Please, calm down you're making me nervous," he warned him. It was hard to drive with Mayu curling into a terrified ball every so often.
The lights turned green again, as he began to drive on, finding it easier if he just blocked everything else out. He wasn't exactly going to get himself killed... "Oh fuck," he swore quickly, shielding his eyes quickly and completely blinded by some great light in front of him. He couldn't see anything ahead of him, the light so bright that it was hurting his eyes. "Argh..." he gasped, trying to cover it as he focused on the road ahead of him, indicating to pull up.
The car shakily pulled onto the side of the road, hazard lights put up. "What the hell is that...?" he asked, covering his vision, unable to see the school where the mass of young bright life gathered.

Mayu bit her lip, leaving forwards to pull the emergency brake before they slammed into the wall of the school building. "Mel...." she said slowly, climbing into the front seat and touching his arm gently. "Mel, what happened? Are you alright?" she tried prying his arms away, hoping he'd be able to see her at least.

Mel continued to cover his eyes, the light so bright that it still seemed to burn through even with his eyes closed. He saw a shadow, heard Mayu calling him and reached out, his hand dancing through the air where the shadow was vaguely, trying to find her. Finally it touched skin, moving over to her and taking her tightly, burying his head against her. "Take me out of here, Mayu..." he begged her, wrapped in her darkness and still unable to open his eyes.

Mayu pulled him over, climbing into the drivers seat without disturbing him. "It'll be okay... It will be okay..." she stroked his back with a spare hand while driving them away from the building. She looked around, trying to find a place where there wouldn't be people to hurt him like this. With a grimace she headed for a small baseball park, hitting the brake near the edges so she could check on him again. "Mel..? Is it any better love?" she asked carefully, trying to seem nicer.

Melville dared slowly to open his eyes, feeling the car coming to a stop. They fluttered open slowly, the pale silvery blue a shade lighter, and would have blended comfortably with the white of his eyes if they had not been so bloodshot. "Argh... bugger me..." he said, shaking his head, looking around. It was bright, but Mayu was comfortably dark, and his eyes felt comfortable looking at her. "Wh-where were we? Why was it so bright?"

Mayu watched him carefully, slightly afraid of his eyes. She looked at her own, finding no change to them. "Too many people alive near you. I think the school buses started the effect." she said softly, wrapping her arms around his waist comfortably. It worried her about the effect of his eyes, but hopefully it would get better as time passed.

He raised his arms and wrapped them around her loosely, resting his head against hers but still careful not to let her take too much weight. He had never felt more useless. "Children..." he said softly, barely heard. It would make sense; the younger the people he had seen, the brighter the light had been, while the dead were darkness. He held her closer. What would that mean in the future? If Mayu and him were to ever have a child, would it blind him?
He couldn't think that far ahead, it troubling him. Each day at a time was how he had to tackle things. And here he had been worried about his legs... "I'll be fine..." he told her softly, kissing her forehead. "No more driving for a little, yeah?"
