"Alright..." the doctor said, watching Diane's reaction with concern.
"You..." she smiled, suddenly feeling self-conscious, "saved me? ...Thanks," she told him, unable to stop smiling.
"And how long has she been displaying memory loss?" he asked, taking a tiny light out of his pocket and trying to examine her eyes. She cringed and pulled away, the small light blinding her.

"I think for about twelve hours? It hasn't exactly been current memory loss, she's just losing certain memories... But as for the falling, I'd say it's been ten to fifteen minutes... Maybe less." He was calculating each move, each word before speaking. Antosha faked a smile at her, the tilted his head to one side as she cringed, feeling himself blinded with her. "I think she has a concussion." he concluded, giving the doctor a puzzling stare.

"Yeah, but that was just the 'incident', which from the way everyone's avoiding it like the plague was an important thing to forget..." she said, rolling her eyes. "At least, I think that's all I forgot..." she said, realising just how oblivious she could be.
The doctor looked at Antosha with a small nod, turning back to Diane as he asked, "Any other symptoms? Dizziness, nausea?"
"Yup, and my heads pounding..." she said slowly, looking between the two of them.
The doctor leant back, saying to Antosha, "I'm inclined to agree, and at the very least its some sort of head trauma. Hopefully its simply a concussion, but we'll probably have to run to tests to make sure its not more serious, and no doctor will dare use magic on the brain..." he said, leaning back to Diane and speaking clearly to her, "Diane, we'll be taking you to Crastyl Hospital for a CAT scan." he explained, before turning back to Antosha, "You can come, or stay here. Either way she'll be away for a couple of hours, and we can let you know as soon as we know anything."

Antosha looked at Diane, then back at the doctor. Hours away in some hospitable? That was too much for him, too much for a lifetime. His face paled and a light sheen of sweet covered the back of his neck. "Sorry, De. But I think I'll have to pass on this one. Good luck, alright?" he was sincere enough.

She shrugged, moving towards him and putting his hand on his, "Makes no odds to me, I won't even remember you're there," she said with a nervous smile, trying desperately to hide how scared she was. "Will you see me after?" she asked, suddenly afraid that he would take the opportunity to reverse it back to their old rules of no contact.

He put his arms around her frame carefully, giving her a tight squeeze. "I'll be here as soon as your back." his voice was soft, smiling. He let her go, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek, then lingered close by. "Don't be scared De." he tried to calm her.

She smiled, looking down, "I'm sure I'll be fine," she told herself, biting softly into her lip. She looked up at him, "And I expect everything I've said and done to be told to me once I've got my memory back, too. I don't want to lose a single detail," she said, giving a look and a nod to the doctor.
The doctor nodded back, taking her by the arm and saying a few words as they both vanished out of sight and towards Crastyl.
