Bexi looked up at her, blinking a couple of times as she began to walk off. Don't want your colour...? She frowned, what did that even mean? Curiousity, as per usual, getting the better of her, she picked herself up, dragging her heavy bag with her and walking after her. "Shaunny..." she called after her, before sliding in front of her, a wide and childish smile on her face. It was hard to believe she was one of the oldest students in the school from the way she acted.
"What did you mean, steal your colour?" she asked, her eyes bright and wide for answers. [/blockquote]

"I dont want your color, okay? Youre just like everyone else. Youre afraid I might touch you and take your color. Or youll be color blind like me. Every single human is exactly the same. Youre all afraid of what you dont understand." She opened her door, tossing her bag on the bed as she closed the door on Bexi, deciding she would much rather just stay in her dorm, where people couldnt judge her anymore.

Bexi stopped, trying to go through the door to her before finding it slammed in her face. She jumped back quickly, looking at the door. She should have stopped, knew that she should have, but everything else was going wrong at the moment, why not try and help someone that needed it. "No one thinks that, Shaun." she said, putting her hand on the door and calling through to her. "You're just colourblind, its no big thing..." she said under her breath, "One of my mates at school was colourblind. Its meant to be like... one in thirty guys is colourblind? One in twelve-thousand girls?" she said, spinning off what facts she knew. "Its not that rare..." she said softly.
She rested her head against the door, closing her eyes as she said softly, "Not like 1 in 125 million who can't be touched because..." she gritted her teeth, "Because of superpowers..." she lied again, knowing how close she'd come to saying it and was unable to. [/blockquote]

Shaun threw the door open.
"You do NOT have superpowers! Are you crazy or something? Stuff like that only exists in the movies, in novels and on TV. Youre not in a cartoon! Youre in real life!" She barked at her. "If you cant fee anything, fine. But dont pretend to be something completely off the wall because you think people wont find out. Because you think people will hurt you. You know what? People are always hurting SOMEONE! And theres no way around that! People are cruel!"

Bexi staggered back, only stopping as she realised that she wasn't moving further back anymore as she realised that her back had hit the wall. "I..." she stopped, looking up at Shaun with wide eyes.
She looked down, but then smiled to herself, her words soft and bouncy again as she pushed herself off the wall, "It's easier being super than weak," she said, and went on to explain "I have never felt pain in my life. No one can hurt me. People get jealous, when I'm really jealous of them. They tell me I should be grateful, and they don't understand. Its easier to just not expl-" Beep. Beep. Beep.
Bexi rolled her eyes, taking off her alarm clock from her belt and looking at it with irritance, the will to throw it away never having been stronger. You're thirsty, it told her. She turned back to her bag, looking through it with a wide, false smile. [/blockquote]

Shaun watched her, wondering why she had to have a clock tell her what to do. She wanted to know more about the girl, but was afraid she had hurt her. Not physically, but emotionally.
"If you cant feel pain, does that mean you cant feel pleasure either?" She wanted to reach out and touch her, but she was afraid she would retreat again, back away and walk off to what she was doing before Shaun had bothered her.

Bexi slowed down for a moment, taking the water out of her bag very slowly as her words stung her. She looked down at the water, opening it before saying "Yeah..." to herself. She smiled to herself nervously, unbottling the cap and taking a big swig of the water.
She pulled the bottle back, looking at the lines she'd drawn on to see if she had drunk enough. Satisfied, she put the bottle back. "Can't feel touch, pain, hot, cold, can't sweat when its warm, can't tell if I'm dying, can't shiver when its cold, can't be held without overheating. Can't even blush." she explained, cheerfully shrugging her shoulders. "Pretending I'm a supergirl is so much nicer to hear, isn't it?" [/blockquote]

Shaun felt really bad for her. It must be awful to live like that. She walked over to her, standing on her tippy-toes as she placed her hands on Bexis shoulders and kissed her gently, a blush on her cheeks.
"Y-you cant feel that?" She asked, pulling away, her arms folded close to her body.
WHY DID YOU JUST DO THAT?! She thought, shaking her head as her eyes dropped to her feet.

Bexi looked down at her as she was aware that her lips were being kissed. She wanted to kiss her back, all of her instincts tearing her apart. It was like watching a film where the girl finally got her kiss, and you would scream at the television begging her to kiss back.
Bexi looked down at her, putting a finger to her lips, wondering what it would have been like to press against their uneven surface. She'd guessed it wouldn't be as soft or smooth as others lips, dinted and scratched where her teeth had ripped her mouth apart when she was too young to understand.
"I..." she paused, not knowing what to say. "I felt the pressure..." she said truthfully, and put her hand on the girls cheek, afraid that she was being too light or too forceful. "Its like watching someone kiss, like the parts in the movies that make your heart stop..." she said slowly, before looking down - a blush would be on her cheeks if she could. "You know, thats the first time anyone's ever kissed me.." [/blockquote]

Shaun raised her hand to Bexis, placing it over the girls as she tilted her head to the side, pressing her cheek into her palm.
"That was the first time I ever kissed anyone.." She admitted, looking up at Bexi. She wanted to kiss her again, feel her lips pressed against her own again. Her lips were surprisingly soft and sweet, amazing.
"You didnt get butterflies?" She asked, rubbing Bexis hand gently. She wanted to be held by her, kissed by her again. And it didnt seem fair.

Bexi smiled, watching her closely, not wanting to miss a single thing that she was doing. "Butterflies?" she asked, smiling, "Ohhh yeah..." she admitted, smiling and shaking her head.
What are you doing, Bex? This girl, she doesn't understand. You can't be anything more with her than friends, and you're leading her on, you're going to let her down...
"The sort of butterflies that tell you something might go horribly wrong very quickly!" she said, laughing loudly to cover her distress. She was wondering about her hand - it couldn't overheat, could it? Maybe just a few more moments, a little longer of staying like this... She looked down. Why was her life always set by a timer? "Nothings going to go wrong.." She mumbled, a little hurt she didnt even like the kiss. Shaun pulled her hand back, turning her head away. She raised her hands to her face, wrinkling her nose.
"Ew." She mumbled, holding them out in front of her as she walked to the bathroom, washing them vigoursly to get the orangy-smell of off them.
Everythings going to go wrong. Youre an idiot. she thought, scrubbing her hands until they were nearly raw. Then she raised them to her face, disgusted that they still smelled like oranges. She washed them a little harder, then dried them off once they only had a hint of an orange smell to them.

Bexi smiled to herself, her eyes distant and unfocused as she said "Yeah..." looking down at her hand, seeing if there was anything wrong with it instinctively.
She followed him, not even quite realising what she was doing as she leant back on the wall, still staring at her hands, as if it was some foreign object to her now. "Story of my life, really. Nothing will go wrong, no pain, no nothing... And yet things never go right..." she said to her hand, turning to her soft fingertips where she'd picked up a roasting hot baking tray with her fingers.
She looked back up to her, her eyes soft and playful, "Can we just go back to me being Supergirl?" [/blockquote]

"And Ill just go back to my dorm and stay in there. It was nice meeting you." She told her, pushing past her. She walked back to her dorm, closing the door softly, then collapsed onto the bed. Everything she wanted, she couldnt have. Everyone she tried to make happy was miserable.
"Im just a complete fail.." she told herself, pulling out a book from her pillow.

Bexi smiled to herself, sinking down on the wall to kneel. "Sure..." she said softly. She knew how close she had been to have everything that she'd ever wanted, and she just couldn't take it... because it would kill her.
She frowned, angry as she slammed her fist into the wall behind her. She could hear cracking, see the knuckles in different places, but didn't care. She just wanted to feel it. Where was the meatbag idiot when you needed him? She wanted to take everything out on someone, something.
She finally gathered herself, sighing as she made her way to the infirmary, imagining herself with a cape and a giant 'S' on her top, in a world where it was so much easier.
