Mayu nodded, figuring that would be the answer. Ant had always turned to ice whenever anything bad happened, which is half the reason stuff happened the way it did with him. She froze suddenly, looking up at a tombstone not far away. A shadow had moved, and she'd seen a tail. There was no way she could be imagining it. A loud hiss erupted from somewhere to the left of them, then a growl as a large black cat landed on the headstone above her. It's eyes were glowing in the night, and it's tail looked like a bush from it's apparent anger. A=Mayu smiled and ignored it, curling up closer to Mel.

Melville wrapped Mayu tightly in his arms as he couldn't help but jump as the cat jumped above them. He held Mayu closely, knowing that the panther was Antosha from the last time, but it didn't shake the fear in his mind. He closed his eyes, remembering that time, remembering the apology Diane had given him as they'd left. Had that just not happened in this world, if his hand had never been burnt? Melville didn't know, didn't understand as he kissed Mayu's head softly. "You want us here, Antosha, or you need to be alone?" he asked, assuming that Antosha probably hadn't had any time with the grave to mourn. He didn't know how he'd answer, though.

Mayu looked up at her brother, shaking her head softly. The cat growled, curling up on the otherwise, somehow resisting the urge to dig and dig till he could be with her. "He wants her back.." she said slowly, reaching around to stroke her brother's head. "And he won't change back until she is.... So, I guess I'm adopting my own brother." she giggled softly, just as her new pet walked around, laying his head on Mel's leg. The cat purred, closing it's eyes and falling asleep. Mayu laughed, trying to push him off. "My Mel, back off." she said, still trying to get him off. Ant growled at her, opening an eye to glare with his little cat-ness.

Melville looked at Antosha with sympathy - he could completely understand his pain. He knew how much it had tormented both he and Mayu when they had been on the opposite sides of death, how he would have done anything to be back with her. He smiled softly as Antosha rested against him, putting his hand on his fur and stroking his head softly; even if it was Antosha, it was still an animal, and still a friend who needed comfort. "Yeah, you and me both mate..." he said softly, wanting Diane back even if it was just to know that she wasn't in Hell.

Mayu stroked his back carefully, afraid that he would snap at her. Everyone wanted Diane back, even Bren had. Why did it have to be her that died anyway? She frowned, wiping away the tears as Ant whined. The cat leaned up, shaking off their hands before licking Mel's face in a form of affection. He jumped up suddenly, pouncing off into the bushes before running back with a small bracelet, a bright silver with tiny rubies encrusted in it. At a closer look it was dragons intertwining themselves around the metal, something he had undoubtably found to go with Diane's earrings. The cat whined again, dropping the bracelet into Mel's palm, nudging it with his nose. He sat back down, cocking his head to the side in a questioning manner while he waited to see what Mel would say to the engraving. 'Diane'

Melville looked down as the bracelet was put into his hands, looking at it from side to side, and then at the engraving. He looked back at the cat, smiling softly. It was so strange to know that Antosha was there - he'd always said that he'd loved animals because they were so distant from the troubles of humans. You didn't have to be clever or sympathetic or care about anyone but yourself, and somehow this animal broke all of that.
He nodded slowly, wrapping it in his hands. "Dia did always have a thing for dragons..." he said softly, putting Mayu back in his arms. "You wanting to give this to her?" he asked Antosha.

Mayu looked up, hearing a faint whisper but not really sure where it'd come from. Ant, on the other hand, got up quickly growling softly while he jumped on the grave. He began kneading the ground with his claws, almost wishing he was dog so he could dig. "Ant! Stop it!" she yelped, jumping up to come after him. The cat hissed, swiping at his sister and still clawing at the dirt. He'd heard it. Diane's voice. He'd heard it clear as day."Stop!!" she screamed, jumping onto the headstone to reach the cat. He hissed more, looking like he would attack her if she attempted to stop him again.

Melville was quick to pull Mayu back in case she tried something stupid. Melville may be strong, but he wasn't an idiot enough to try and tackle a wild animal, even if it was meant to be a human inside. He had heard nothing, knew no reason why Antosha would suddenly act so strangely. "Antosha, stop it!" he called out quickly, ready to freeze him with magic if he didn't stop.

A shuddering breath. Bad Kitty... I'm not in there... A pause. I'm where you want me to be with you. I need to speak with you, alone.

Ant whined, going mad from inside his own mind. His ears folded back as he kept digging. I want you hereeee he tried again, his feline voice rattling around in his own mind. He growled at Mel, showing off his large teeth, threatening his own sister to get away. Get the fuck away. he hissed, raking a large paw against Mayu's arm, watching it tear from his claws. And keep your girlfriend away from sharp things, she's cutting again. he growled, ripping his teeth into the sleeves of her dress, pulling them away so Mel could see the deep cuts. He whined again, sniffing the air to try and find the girl he loved. Why can I touch youuu?

Melville looked in horror as the animal tore through Mayu's clothes, wanting to pull her away as his eyes widened at what Antosha was revealing. "Mayu..." he said softly, but the hardened his expression, putting his arms around her. The first 'sharp thing' he would be getting her away from was Antosha, not trusting him to not hurt them in that state. "We're leaving." he said stubbornly, his arms wrapped around her and casting the spell before Mayu could object.

"Urgh, I thought they'd never leave..." Diane's voice came as clear as it would have been if spoken aloud as the couple vanished from the air. And then, as clearly as the voice had been, the girl appeared on the other side of the grave.
She was leaning back, her black hair flowing softly, her face paler than it had ever been. She was dressed all in black, the rose in one hand and the ring on the other, holding them like perfectly balanced scales in front of her. It was almost impossible to tell that she wasn't human, though any touch would move straight through her. She looked up at Antosha with a cheeky smile. "You know I can't stand animals..."

Ant looked around, slowly transforming for only her. "Diane..." he said softly, moving to her side almost instantly. "I want to touch you... Why did you die? Why are you here?... Damnit!" he cursed as he tried reaching for her hand, wincing as it just went straight through her. He looked like crap, dirt and blood mixed along his face and his clothes were almost torn to shreds. His eyes held the most emotion he'd ever experienced, pure love for her. He turned his head away, eyes glued to the ground so he wouldn't have to look at what he'd done.

Diane gave a small smile. Although she felt horrible for Antosha's pain, she still couldn't help but feel comforted just seeing him again. She put down the ring and the flower on the top of her grave, and put a hand on his cheek. A small tingling feeling ran from her, unlike any skin or anything that could be felt with nerves. "One question at a time..." she said slowly.
"Firstly, I died because I had no choice," she said slowly, looking at Antosha and not wanting to look at anything else. "I had a heart attack, Antosha, I didn't try and kill myself. I tried to save myself," she said slowly. "Brendan dying broke my heart... I panicked, I was in pain, I just wanted to stop feeling pain..." her eyes faded out. "Painkillers for the pain, sleeping pills to sleep through it, blood pressure pills to try and save my life. I lost track of it all. I was confused..."
She blinked, looking back to Antosha, knowing that the next words would hurt him. "I'm here because of Brendan. His spirit refuses to move on, and what can I say? I loved you both, and he would never understand that... If continues the way he is, he'll become like Mathew, or like the demon that broke my heart in the first place."
