Abigail laughed at the remarkable speed at which Diane changed the conversation.
"Sounds great."she said, giving Diane a bit of distance, hoping she wasnt starting to feel tense. Abigail wasnt usually this forward to someone she likes. She usually tries to hide it. She took her phone out as soon as Diane was gone, cringing a bit as she realized that she had 4 text messages from her ex boyfriend, all of which he was ranting and raving about how he wanted to know where she was at and why she wasnt at the Carondelets. As if it wasnt bad enough that hed raped her, now he tought he had to have a leash on her as well. She had the sudden urge to throw her phone.

"Great!" she said, jumping up with startling speed and practically running away to try and find a bar. She was tempted to go look for Antosha, ask him what to do, or at least text him, but she was too afraid to. Somehow she knew that this should all just stay apart from Antosha, at least for now.
"Um... a baileys and a vodka and coke?" she asked as soon as she found the bar, and the man gladly gave them, explaining that it was free. She smiled and said thank you, and proceeded to carry them back.
What am I doing? she thought, taking a sip of her baileys as she walked past. How can I manage this? I'm in love with Antosha! Even if he doesn't love me... She turned the corner, peeking around and seeing Abigail, her head down as she read her text. She smiled, a warm feeling similar to the liqueur ran through her viens, and suddenly all was clear.
"I didn't know what you liked so I got you a vodka and coke," she said, handing her the fizzy black drink and sitting down beside her again.

"I could use a hole in my head, but I guess this'll do.." she mumbled, tucking her phone into her clutch as it began to ring. She was on the verge of tears but not willing to let it show. She quickly downed it, barely noticing the buzz she was getting. She had the sudden urge to crawl under a rock and not come back out. She ignored her phone, which kept ringing and ringing and ringing.
Maybe she was making a mistake. Diane was surely straight. And besides, she'd never be into Abigail. No matter how hard she tried. So why try?

She brushed her hair back, looking blankly at the phone and then at Abigail, being able to tell that whatever was suddenly upsetting her was probably from that. "Abigail..." she said, slowly, and sighed. She quickly took the phone, clicking the 'hang up' button defiantly, and then switching the thing off. "I have no intentions of sharing you tonight," she said with a flirting grin. She could get used to this.

Abigail forced a smile. "I dont think thats going to stop him.." she mumbled.
"Hey. Sorry about earlier. I crossed a line. Dont worry about it happening again.." She said, drumming her fingers against the bench. She should have known not to try. And she was kicking herself about it.

She resisted the urge to smash up her phone right then and there, but knew she could never do that. She passed it back to her, telling her, "It's no problem. I freaked, it's cool though." she said, curving her short polished against the rim of her glass, watching as the cream formed patterns down its side. "And... I don't think I would mind if it would happen again," she said, smiling shyly, unable to take her eyes off her drink.

Abigail shook her head. "You would mind. Even the last guy who dated me didnt want me.."
She tucked her feet underneath her, smoothing out her dress over her knees.
"Sometimes it sucks. Being bi, I mean. Its like.. You know what you want, but you cant have it. And no one accepts it, thats for sure. You tend to be shunned, just because youre interested in guys and girls. But you wouldnt know what thats like.." she stammered, the alcohol affecting her more than she was willing to accept.

She smiled nervously, looking down. "If I know one thing from just being around my friends its dealing with homophobia," she said, smiling, "Most of my friends are gay men." she said with a small shrug, feeling her cheeks burning up, "And... I mean, I know that's not the same. You're right, I don't know what it's like being bi..." she said, as she slid her hand over onto Abigail's, "But I think I'm willing to learn."

Abigail smiled and tipped Dianes chin back, scanning her face with her eyes. She placed a kiss on her nose, loving the way their hands fit so perfectly together and how she was so willing to prove to Abigail that she would try. Which is what Abigail has been going her whole life. Trying...
Not really sure she was ready to kiss Diane, she pulled back, offering Diane a smile and her hand.

She smiled, looking at her through her long eyelashes, brushing her arms with her fingertips. Everything was somehow electric, every touch a new thrill. She blushed, standing up slowly and walking forwards, putting her drink on a passing table. She smiled, urging her forwards as she stepped under the archway, pointing up to the mistletoe that was above her.

Abigail smiled and grabbed Diane by the waist, pulling her in close. She pressed her lips to Diane's, running her tounge across her bottom lip. Her hands pressed into the small of Diane's back, pulling her as close as they could be. She smiled a bit, the corners of her mouth turning up mischeviously. She could just feel the people looking at them. But she didnt care. She was with Diane, and thats all that matters. I think Im falling in love.. she thought.

She leaned forwards into the kiss, momentarily forgetting to close her eyes as she was so taken aback by it. It was more passionate then she'd imagined, and her snakebites tickled, but not uncomfortably as she would have expected. She closed her eyes, slowly moving her lips to the rhythm, before it ended, and she put her forehead onto hers, smiling as she held her. She wanted to make a joke, to lighten the mood and stop it being so serious, but although she had a pile to choose from, she chose not to, simply holding her new Christmas present.

"See? Its not that bad.." she said with a smile, rubbing her hands up and down Diane's back. She gazed into her eyes as she brought one of her hands up to Diane's cheek, caressing it gently. Somehow, she wished that they could just stand here forever, Diane in her arms. She wished that she could just hold her until the end of time...

She smiled, feeling herself completely secure around the girl, thinking through everything in her mind. She was bi now, and everything made sense; the constant rush for the unattainable, feminine men, the fact that boys were always just friends with her. Maybe she was even more than bi? She laughed to herself; Antosha felt like such a distant memory now. Slowly, she whispered a song under her breath: "I kissed a girl and I liked it..."

Abigail smiled and planted another quick kiss on her lips.
"Youre going to do alot more than just kiss a girl, If you dont stop making yourself so darn irristable.." she whispered in her ear. She pulled back a bit so she could gaze into Diane's eyes, rubbing her thumb against her cheek.
"Youre so beautiful.." she mumbled, more to herself than Diane.
