She looked at Lily-Mae, feeling suddenly very skeptical and slightly afraid. "What do you need...?" she asked in a slow, low voice, wrapping herself into a small ball. All this talk of the cold was making her cold.

Lily-Mae frowned as she played with a ring on her hand. This didn't help in hiding her embarrassment. "I have a slight problem with using the fire element," she said as she glanced up at De, "I was hoping that you could just oversee it and make sure I don't burn the school down, or anything." She looked up and attempted a cheesy smile, to show Diane that she didn't think it would be that bad. Her feelings on the inside, however, were not so sure about the situation. It could either go really good, or really bad.
Aiden focused on Abby's ipod as he listened to Lily-Mae speak. He could feel her uneasiness. He could feel that Lily didn't want to trap Diane into helping, but that she would be grateful to have her there. That somehow, having some of her friends there would make everything seem better. His hand moved to around Lily-Mae's shoulder as he slid her closer to him and squeezed slightly. "You know I will be there, mate," he said with a smile.

She smiled and shrugged, "Of course," she said. "I mean, if it gets out of step then I can make it rain or blow the wind really hard and get it away." she said with a shrug, looking down and blushing. "All of my elements tries turn out like weather. Wind is the only one that vaguely resembles what it's meant to, and thats because it is weather." she said with a frown. "Maybe you can help me learn real elements in exchange?"

Lily-Mae brightened up and smiled, "Thanks De. I can definitely help you out." She sighed in relief. She was nervous before, to ask if De would help her, but was relieved to see that she would be more than willing to help. Lily always liked to feel as though she could help other people, but hated asking for favors, or anything like that. She was more of a giver than a taker in everything.
Aiden smiled at Diane and mouthed a thank you. He could feel that it meant a whole lot to Lily to know that Diane and himself would be there. It would even mean more, if Abby would be willing to be there too, but it was apparent that if she wouldn't Lily would be fine with just having De and himself there.
