Brynn yawned flipping through the dusty pages of a book concerning water scrying. He'd been meaning to try it out some time but he was tired, and all the books only had information and history on it. Nothing concerning the actually act of scrying. It's as if he could only learn theory.
The slim figure of the boy rose out of the old dusty chair. The library was empty not many people came past six o' clock. The librarian seemed half asleep behind the desk. Brynn walked up and down the halls of books that reached up forever. He wasn't paying attention when he tripped over his own feet.
"Woah...ahh!" Brynn fell to the floor some dust rising around him. "Oww..." He looked to his right and noticed a small black book underneath the shelf. He pulled it out slowly noticing a thick layer of dust. It must have been there for years. He blew it off catching some in his throat in the process. "The Practice of Divination" the title read in fancy cursive letters. Brynn opened it slowly noticing stiff, yellow aged pages. After flipping through the book he noticed something. It was forms of divination and how to practice them. Even some of the ones the school didn't allow. Brynn looked around to see if anyone was looking, sticking the book in his bag before standing up.
He went back to the sofa sitting down and took the book out starting to read it.

Antosha nodded to the half asleep librarian, heading for the books on Necromancy. Even if it was only theory he was determined to learn how to do it, even if he made mistakes. After last night's all nighter he was ready to grab the next set of books. Already he had stumbled onto the ripped off pages, plus the locked room. The school had been determined to hide all ways of actually doing magic, hiding it behind theories. He plugged back in his Ipod, turning on Red as he scanned the Necromancy isles. Grabbing the booked titled "Death Practitioners" he glanced through the selves to see a familiar figure.
Brynn was here, of course. Wasn't he always? Antosha bit his lip, debating wither or not to disturb him. Glancing back at the figure he felt the blush rising to his cheeks. He shook his head, he couldn't like Brynn, it just wasn't allowed. He grabbed a couple more books before heading over to sit beside Brynn, pushing his bag under the sofa.
"Hey, mind if I bother you?" he asked, trying to read the title on Brynn's book. Probably something to do with scrying, he tended to read quite a bit about that subject. Just like himself and Necromancy.

The book included so many things Brynn had never heard of. He became engulfed in its words and disconnected from the real world. Scanning page through page thinking of what he'd try. His eyes were moving quickly when he barely noticed a voice and for a while he was unresponsive until being jerked out of the trance.
"Hm...wha-" Brynn looked up and around to notice Antosha next to him. "Oh" he smiled. "Hey Anto" he called him that for short. "You can bother me, sorry I was so quiet this book...is just amazing." he said smiling at the small black book in his lap. "But it has no check out card..." he wondered why. "I need to take it though" he couldn't tell if he was talking to himself or Anto now. "Oh sorry..."
Brynn looked at the book in Antosha's hands. "And what might you be reading here, so late mind you." It was true he knew Anto did come to the library often like Brynn but he didn't think this late.

Antosha smiled, shaking his head as was his habit. "What to I always come here for? Necromancy of course. Too bad it's all just theory, though I've been trying to find a book on telepathy.." he explained, stopping in case he got to boring. Once he started something he would start rambling. "What time is it by the way?" he asked, suddenly realizing he had no idea about the time.
Antosha was trying not to ask a bunch of questions, he would save that for the teacher. If he really needed to know something so badly then he would have to look it up at a different school or even over the internet. Maybe he could call up some of his old friends.. He bit his lip again, trying to look at the floor rather then stare at Brynn, before realizing just how obvious that would seem. Instead he leaned back against the couch, looking into Brynn's eyes.

Brynn smiled. Of course it was necromancy. "I know what you mean, everything is theory...but this book" he stopped at the next question. "Oh..." Brynn opened his phone to notice it was 6:54. "Almost seven o'clock" he said. Brynn looked back at Anto.
He noticed he was staring. Brynn smiled waving his hand in front of his eyes. "Are we ok Anto?" he said laughing a bit. "Anyways this book is great it's not about theory, its about actually doing things." he looked at the book again. "It's amazing..."

Antosha smiled, shaking his head to lose his thoughts. "No way, such a book could not exist in this school. Show me." he demanded, looking at the book with interest. Everything here was theories, not practicing. Even if it was just Divination he still wanted to learn. He had a thing with learning, practically devouring every book he got his hands on until his head was its was library.

Brynn got up sitting on the chair Anto was, he was close in order for Anto to see. To tell the truth secretly Brynn kind of like Anto, as a friend yes, but more recently Anto seemed like more. Brynn wouldn't say anything though.
"Look...I found it under a shelf covered in dust" he opened the book to a page about scrying with fire, the instructions, materials, and procedure. "See look everything..." he handed the book to Anto. "But there’s no check out card or anything."

Antosha bit his lip, hard. Brynn was sitting close to him, closer then normal. He closed his eyes and willed away the redness from his cheeks before looking at the book. He forced himself to focus on the page, about scrying with fire. "Oh wow, is there anything about Kenetics or Necromancy? I've heard there are ways to scry with the dead as well as tracking and such. The books don't say much, but this. This is just wow." he muttered, leaning closer to the book.
He wouldn't admit it but he sometimes had a hard time seeing things, so he just brought the objects closer to his face. He studied the page a little longer before handing it back to Brynn, working hard not to stare, again.

Brynn noticed the slight blush but passed it off as Anto getting a little warmer. Brynn was clueless. "Oh let me see..." he turned the page to the contents noticing some strange ways of Divination turning pages to them. "Let's see there’s...bone divination, uhm crystal ball..." he flipped some more pages. "How about contacting the dead?" he offered the book to Anto noticing the permanent blush. It was cute and soon he felt his own face becoming heated.
"Uhm...Is that g-good?" he stuttered for a second. "Whoops sorry I guess I'm excited to try this out" He said smiling and wiping the blush away.

Antosha chewed his lip, giggling widely inside his mind. Brynn was so cute, and he was stuttering. Forcing his eyes away from Brynn he looked at the page, it was all about contacting the dead. "In here?" he asked, glancing at the librarian with worry. "Bone casting might be more difficult, I don't think KFC bones will work." he joked, smiling at Brynn. Thankfully he had gotten the blush out of his face so he looked normal again.

Brynn looked at the "contacting dead" page. "Nonsense...the librarian won't know..." Brynn closed the book. He laughed at the joke. "C'mon..." Brynn grabbed Anto wrist gently pulling him through a maze of books into a secluded and empty corner of the library. "We can do it here!" Brynn smiled looking at Anto.
He sat down opening the book. "Well first we need to make sure we approach this with respect, empty our minds, and call out for a spirit." Brynn took a breath. "With our question in mind." He looked up at Anto "Want to give it a try?"

Antosha looked around the secluded corner of the library, many thoughts running through his head. None of them had to do with summoning the dead. He nodded, trying to keep a straight face. "Got someone in mind?" he asked. His mind was already clearing, for the most part anyway. He looked at Brynn, some of the lesser thoughts still lingering, causing him to blush madly. It was almost inhuman how much you could like your friend.
Just a few weeks ago they had been friends, nothing more. But now every time Antosha looked at Brynn he couldn't help but notice how just plain cute he was. But this wasn't the time to think about all that. He took a deep breath and focused on clearing his mind again, this time with success.

Brynn noticed a faint tint of red upon Anto's cheeks and couldn't help but smile. Now his head was spinning and for a few seconds he didn't react to Anto's question. "Oh! uhm...no one in particular...we can call out to anyone who answers?" he offered. "But what are we going to ask?" Brynn wondered for a few second before looking at Anto for an answer.
He closed his eyes. "I think our energy would flow better if we were connected." Brynn said grabbing both Anto's hands in his own. He began to let all thoughts flow from his mind. Trying to clear it of the fact they were holding hands now, even if only for a spell.

Antosha blushed more when Brynn grabbed his hands, sure it was for the spell, but it was nice. He smiled to himself, the perfect question forming in his mind. It was a simple yes or no kind of question, with no wrong answer. But then again if he asked this question the answer might not be so good. He shook his head, clearing away all the thoughts and waited for Brynn to lead.

Brynn knew a question he had in mind but really couldn't ask it in front of Anto. "I think I have a good question..." Everything grew quiet their hands interlocked. "Clear your mind..." he said in a soft whisper. His mind was blank. The question he asked was stupid but simple so it was a good start. "Uhm...Will we be successful in the future?" he asked aloud calling out to the spirit world in his mind waiting for an answer. The air was a tad colder and he could hear himself breathing as well as Anto. Everything was quiet but he heard slight whispers in his head. It was scary at first. They weren't audible. He wondered if Anto was hearing the same.
