Grace had to remind herself clearly why she was doing this; it was a way of making sure that he was there when Antosha got burnt by his aspiration, so that she could mend it and send him back onto the right path. "I'm afraid its too late tonight, and too many people have seen us tonight. If anyone asks, you have personal detention with me on Thursdays, alright?" she said, looking at them both carefully. "Next week, come separately to this room and I will be here." she said, licking her lips nervously. A new chill was running down her back now, like she had caused the start of something very, very wrong. "Now leave. Separately." she commanded.

Antosha laughed to himself, smiling widely at everything in the room. "Brynn, you go first." he said. He looked once at Ms Jackson, wondering why she kept shivering so much. "What is worrying you?" he asked, acting innocent again. Not that he cared what she thought of his love for Necromancy, but the darkness was starting to itch. It was almost telling him what to do at this point, commanding his emotions. Maybe it was just this room, since it's aura was effecting everyone already.

Ms Jackson seemed to be in a world of her own, looking around at all of the things which lined the walls and finding herself submerged in memories. She thought she could hear distant screams, and wasn't sure if it was the magical energy or just her memories finding a new and frightening life.
She turned to him, suddenly embarrassed. "Nothing," she said quietly, her eyes unfocusing as she stared down. She didn't want to frighten them - the room was unnerving enough, though she remembered that the whole point of them coming there was to frighten them. "In my time at FMS, Necromancy teachers who could teach the ethics of the lesson as well as the practical side were few and far between; FMS wasn't half the quality it was today. The classes were overpacked, and our teacher foolishly decided to summon a spirit. Some students were over ambitious, decided to change their own chant to summon a demon instead." she looked down, running her toes against the floor and putting streaky lines in the chalk, "The result was like nothing we'd ever seen before. The teacher did not know how to react and ran, urging the students to do the same." She licked her lips, hugging her body as she remembered. "We were forced to continue our Necromancy lessons for about a week after that, even after we knew what had happened, even though every time we entered the room we could feel the students we'd lost..."

Antosha twisted his face to find the right emotion, somehow sadness seemed right. "I'm so sorry." he said, letting his voice crack in just the right places. No one would be able to tell the difference between his acting and the real thing, unless the looked into his eyes. Emotions for him would be no problem, but faking tears was the thing he was worst at. Or maybe his eyes were still lit up from the ability to be this close to death.
He had wondered what that strange feeling had been, now he knew. It was the dead pleading for life again, they weren't ready to die yet. Now they wanted out, and they had found just the people to do it for them. Antosha's eyes went out of focus, listening to the feelings and screams of the dead. it was so cool, magic was, he could preform the easiest of spells without anyone noticing.

Brynn was gone by now. He tried hard to remember which way they had come in. Taking rights and lefts he became hopelessly lost. "Uhm..." every turn was another dark hall leading nowhere. A maze of halls really. He was getting worried. What if he was stuck down here? He tried racking his brain for some teleportation spell but nothing came to mind. Instead he wandered.
Upon opening a door it looked like an old college leveled herbology class. Strange plants were still alive or looked alive. It was strange seeing as the room looked 100 years old. Walking into another room it looked like an old potions room. He wandered inside peering through vials filled with liquids, some smoke, others stones.
Brynn walked back out looking up and down the halls still hopelessly lost.

Ms Jackson, thankfully, wasn't looking at Antosha when he gave his lie. He could have been the worst liar in existence and she really wouldn't have noticed, so trapped in listening to the screams, trying to recognise who's they were. "You should probably go now." she said, not even looking up to see if Brynn had gone, simply feeling the energy around her building after the third possible host had left the room.

Antosha smiled at something, unheard by most peoples ear. "Brynn is lost." he said suddenly, snapping out of the trance. Without a thought he grabbed Ms Jackson's arm and pushed her out the room, shutting the doors behind himself. "Brynn is lost.' he repeated, waving her hand in fron of Ms Jackson's face.

She shook herself out of the trance almost in the very moment that the door shut fast, blowing dust into the air as the screams stopped. She blinked through the light dust, focusing on Antosha. Lost? She suddenly knew how foolish she had been; of course she knew these parts like the back of her hand, even after all these years, and she had forgotten how easy it was to get lost.
She nodded, pushing her hand deep into her pocket and taking it out a small chain and a shining glass gem. She carefully lifted one end of the golden chain, watching as the pendulum stayed unnaturally still in her hands. 'Quatar' she breathed, as the gem suddenly began to vibrate, swinging up towards the end of the corridor as if being pulled by some powerful magnet. "This way, come." she said, not even questioning how he had even known he was lost.
It never even occurred to her that the door was left unlocked behind her.

ANtosha followed Ms Jackson quickly, keeping his mind focused on Brynn's. Although he couldn't reach it, or even enter it, he knew how to track him. It was a simple trick, everything here had a feel to it, so all he had to do was find where it was missing. "The door." he whispered, hoping Ms Jackson would stop.

"Hm?" She asked, the pendulum suddenly falling straight and swinging limply. She looked at Antosha, and then back to the door. "Oh," she said with a sharp intake of breath, moving over to the door cautiously. Even though she knew she wasn't entering, she still suddenly felt very afraid of the door. She suddenly felt regret washing over her; if she was so afraid of just being outside of the door, how could she ever hope to teach the lesson?
She tried to push away her feelings, locking the door quickly, and recasting her spell, turning to Antosha as though nothing had happened.

Brynn could hear faint noises and decided to follow them. He began to talk loudly. "Hello?" he said with a hint of distress in hi voice. It was cold, colder than usual and it was getting darker down here. "HELLO!" He almost screamed unable to move his feet. Something wasn't right down here. He heard something in back of him and he whipped around to see nothing there. This school must have been haunted. "Antosha! Ms. Jackson!" He called out feeling the corners of his eyes moistening a bit. He thought he'd be lost for sure here. There was another noise and he jumped up.

Grace found her footsteps growing quicker. She tried to convince herself that there was nothing to worry about, but it had been so long since anyone had been in these parts of the school she really didn't know how true that was. The pendulum twisted them around corners and through passageways that even Ms Jackson had never seen before, as she wondered how a student could ever get themselves so lost.
"Wait," she said, suddenly stopping as she listened carefully. She could hear what seemed like shouting, as she realised that it was someone calling their names.
"Brynn?" she called back, trying to sound as loud as she could while not letting any of her fear creep into her voice. "Bry-" she stopped as the door in front of her swung open, revealing a very frightened looking Brynn. She could not help but let out a gasp of relief, just to be able to see her student in one piece - if a very frightened piece.

Brynn opened a door a jumped ducking in the process only to hear a familiar voice. "Oh thank god..." he said standin up wiping his eyes. "I-I thought I'd be lost forever..." He said softly looking down. "Can we uhm...leave now." He said looking up noticing Antosha as well.

Antosha looked at his teacher, worry written over his feature. She was scared, something deep and dark was running across her heart. He repeated a childhood mantra, focused on the ability to banish evil. Not that it would do anything, but it was something he had found that was used to calm anyone who was scared or distressed.
He looked up in sudden surprise, wondering where Brynn had come from. "Yeah. We can go home." he said, before realizing that he and Brynn didn't share a room.

Ms Jackson nodded, smiling awkwardly as he gestured them both forwards and out of the strange room and back into the familiar (at least to her) looking corridors. "Come, we don't want to be too long," she said, hurrying them forwards, caught by her own fear and that for the children, feeling oddly maternal.
"I'll be sending a message to both of you during this next week with the exact location of the Necromancy room. Please try not to get lost again," she urged, "It will be enchanted, so in order to see the proper message you will have to use a standard counter spell." she told them, already aware that, if she could manage it, the message would probably have more information then just the directions.
