She looked up, laughing as she said, "Uh...." as she walked over to the side of the tree, where the roots had uplifted themselves. She stepped on the tallest of the roots, and said, "This is as high as I climb." She laughed and shook her head. She could barely reach the first branches.

Antosha smiled, moving her over form the roots before backing up himself. WIth a small laugh he launched himself at the side of the tree, hitting it with the pads of his feet before bouncing up and over the first branch. At the last second he grabbed the branch with his right hand, swinging slightly before coming to a stop on the branch. "Ta da." he laughed, smiling at the show he had put on.

"Show off!" she shouted up to him, putting her hands on her hips. She looked up in the trees, trying to find a good place. She smiled, and breathed words as she suddenly disappeared, reappearing on the thick branch above Antosha... vaguely. She screamed. Her feet had not landed properly and she found herself falling back, grabbing for anything she could find. Her hands grabbed onto twigs desperately, as she stopped herself from falling, but she could tell they couldn't hold her weight for long.
Quickly, she leaned down and changed her footing, shaking as she exchanged the twigs for much sturdier branches, shouting down, "I'm OK...." in a shaking voice.

He sighed, using his freaky monkey abilities to reach a branch near her. "Never use magic up in the trees." Antosha pointed out, though she had most likely learned that fact already. He stayed where he was, muttering a small spell to himself before grabbing onto the tree's main bulk and standing (on all fours) next to De. He was looking more and more like monkey the longer he stayed up here.

"Gee thanks..." she said, more bitterness in her tone then she would have liked as she clung on tightly, too frightened to even move. She looked at the ground, the branches around her, Antosha, but never at the same place more than once it was all too frightening. She closed her eyes, trying to remember why she was here in the first place. "OK, adjective, the statement of acceptance and acknowledgment of things around you." she said slowly. "You said define OK?" she joked, trying to take her mind of the height. She wished that he could hold her, make sure she couldn't fall, even if that would make it more dangerous.

"Diane.. You won't fall, trust me." he said quietly, moving to sit beside her on the branch. He carefully stroked her cheek, keeping his eyes centered on her. Antosha smiled, a light breeze waffled through the leaves, tousling his hair gently. He wrapped his arms around, mostly to keep her safe, but also to prepare her for what he was planning on doing next.

She felt herself shivering, still not able to concerntrate on anything for more than a few seconds. She flinched as Antosha stroked her cheek, her breathing quickening as she felt the wind blowing against her. Even these small brushes felt like they could knock her over. She was glad of Antosha putting his arms around her, whispering, "Please don't let me fall..."

Antosha shook his head, muttering a teleporting spell to get them safely to the ground. "There you go." he smiled, letting her go before jumping right back up the tree. His thoughts were clearer up here, less crowded. Julie hovered anxiously at the ground, looking at Mathew strangely. Antosha was planning something, but even she wasn't sure what that something was.

She smiled, glad to be on the ground and standing up fully, looking up immediately and seeing that Antosha was back up the tree. She folded her arms, looking up and smiling, shaking her head. It was strange to see him so comfortable. "Are you wanting me to go? I don't mind..." she said slowly, feeling strange talking to a tree.

"Your scared of heights. So, no." Antosha laughed, almost close to hysteria. He winked at Diane before disappearing farther up the tree, then dropping back down again. He could get used to this, it was quiet fun. If only De could stand to be up here longer he might have shown her the amazing view.

She frowned, shouting up, "That makes no sense..." she said, wondering what he meant by that. "I meant do you want me to leave you to it?" she called back up, finding it hard to see him anymore. "And I'm not scared of heights! I'm just... scared of falling." she finished lamely. "I'd be fine if I didn't think I would fall!"

Antosha smiled, popping back down to the ground. "Come with me." he said, pulling her closely with one arm while using the other to guide them up. Foot, hand, foot, foot, then hand. He repeated until he reached the top branch, then gently sat Diane on the widest part of it. With another smile he recited the spell to keep her firmly on the tree, leaving her no option but to stay. Then he sat down, looking out at the land. From here you could see everything, the forests of Henton to the infirmary of their school, not to mention the setting sun.

She took in a deep breath as she felt herself being lifted through the treetops. Although she felt much safer, her heart still raced under her chest, and she found her smiles took a little more effort then usual. The words of the spell reassured her, though, and even more so did the amazing view. "Wow...." she said slowly, looking around. She could see the whole town, and was amazed by the size of it; she'd only ever been in the main streets, and had no idea there were so many houses. She smiled and leaned over to Antosha, kissing him on the cheek, "Thank you." she said, blushing. "And it's totally OK if you're a vampire." she joked, finding the seriousness offputting.

Antosha smiled, nearly falling out of the tree with what she said. "Vampire?" he chocked, finding the word hard to believe. No way was he a vampire, until he saw the look in De's eyes. "Ah, of course. And now that I have you in my grasp. What shall I do?" he smiled wickedly, mimicking thinking things over.

She playfully pulled her hair over her shoulder on one side exposing her bare neck, pouting like a star of a black and white horror film. "Oh please... be gentle." she said, putting her hand over her mouth. She was actually doing surprisingly well at keeping up the facade.
