He smiled, leaning closer to her neck. "Never." he joked, laughing slightly as his hot breath ran down her neck. Antosha gently 'bit' De's neck though it was turning out more like he was licking her. Well, maybe that was because he actually was licking her. As a joke of course.

She frowned, the act breaking as she pulled away as fast as she dared while still so high, "Ew, gross Antosha!" she said, wiping it off with her sleave. "How would you like it if I just drooled over you..." she said, narrowing her eyes at him. Affectionately, of course.

Antosha rocked back on his heels, teetering dangerously close to the edge. "A lot?" he guessed, raising an eyebrow at her. " I resent that comment, I was not drooling that you very much." he laughed, still rocking back and forth each time coming closer and closer to falling.

She scrunched up her nose in mock disgust, "Salivated, then." she told him, leaning over to him and licking his cheek. She pulled away quickly, giving a satisfied, childish 'I told you so' nod.

"Oh you want to play it that way do you?" he screeched, wiping away the saliva. Antosha smiled, leaning forward to lick her cheek. Giving her a small wink, a 'Let the games begin' kind of look. No way was she going to win this licking war, he was far better with his tongue then she could ever hope to be.

She leaned back, trying to duck out of the way of the strange childish game as she leant back on the branch heavily, suddenly hearing an almighty CRACK. She froze, pulling away from it. It didn't break, but it had put her on edge again. She let out a low breath, putting her hands out and saying "You win..." not quite wanting to play this game at such a height. Maybe if it had been in a bedroom... with a straight man...

Antosha watched her freeze, judging her emotions carefully, maybe he had better test her now. With a small smiled be jumped off the branch and into a cluster of leaves, knowing she wouldn't be able to tell if he'd fallen to his death or not. The thought seriously crossed his mind, but at the possible last second he grabbed a lower branch letting his feet dangle well he pulled himself up.

She gasped, holding onto the branches around her tightly as Antosha left her. She looked down into the leaves, hoping he was OK. She smiled nervously, knowing he would be find. The trees were like a home to him, and he would be fine. She, however, might not. She clutched on tightly. It was starting to get dark, and it was harder to see shadow from branches as she looked down. "Antosha, if you've fallen to you death then I'm not picking up the bits..." she said slowly, her voice shaking a little.

He remained, silent as death, using a small teleportion spell to send her to the ground. Something's here, stay quiet. the small voice rattled in his mind, projecting itself into Diane's. Julie was standing guard, watching something in the distance, something unseen. Antosha remained as still as possible, hardly daring to breath before Julie called the all clear.

She found herself on the ground, also frozen, looking around into the night. She could feel Mathew was walking slowly after Julie, subconsciously afraid of moving too fast in case he made a noise, even though he never could. Diane closed her eyes, almost afraid to breath, staring into the darkness. Why does this keep happening to us? she projected to Antosha, even her inner voice shook.

It's our spirit guides, they attract the others. His thoughts were faint, as if spoken from some great distance. Julie looked at Mathew, mouthing the words 'Can you hear that?'. It was a soft humming, the sound you could imagine a nest of hornets making when woken up form a deep sleep.

She looked at Antosha through the darkness, her eyes wide What?? she demanded. Mathew was meant to save her, protect her, and all he brought - all he had ever brought - was harm.
Mathew leaned closer to Julie, trying to listen. 'It sounds almost like...' he started slowly, and then shook his head, stepping back, 'Julie, we need to get out of here. The living will be fine, we just need to go...' he said, panic in his voice.

Their strength, their power, is attracting all the evil. Antosha's thought voice was practically shouting, trying to listen to the spirit's words. All his trust was placed on Julie, and he knew she'd never disappoint him.
'They come with us.' Julie said firmly, her voice steadily calm. Inside she was scared, ready to bolt, but Antosha was lending his strength and trust in her. No way could she let him down.

She looked down, soaking in his words, waiting for the OK to move. What was taking so long? She felt a hand on hers, assumed it was Antosha and looked down. She saw her hand was empty, but she could feel it tugging gently, trying to get her to move a certain way. She frowned, not quite sure what it meant.
'Fine, of course, but right now it doesn't care about them, it cares about us...' Mathew almost hissed at Julie, grabbing onto Diane's hand and trying to pull her away, finding himself useless without breaching his constricted spirit guide contract.

Diane! Move it, their trying to save us! he moved down, the only sound made through the whole journey was the sound of his breathing. 'For now.' Julie said pointedly once Antosha was safely by her side. With a small nod of her head she guided him in the correct direction. Antosha smiled at Julie, carefully picking up Diane before following her lead. Behind him Julie walked in her noiseless footsteps, watching Mathew carefully. 'You know the rule that we can never leave our charge anyway.' she pointed out again, shaking her head at the spirit.
