Mayu layed against her beach towel. It was warm morning for Henton, nice enough to go swimming even. She had texted everyone that had been at the pub last night, hoping that some over them would show up. Even if all of them didn't she and Ant could have fun by themselves.
Sighing to herself she rolled over to grab her book, the same one she had been reading before the party. When she pulled it out, the same book she had meant to show Brynn fell out. Maybe now he would see it, Mayu glanced left and right to make sure no one waas coming before shoving it back into her bag. Not that she was worried, but it was a magic book so who knew if it was allowed outside the school.
The sun was rising to the sky as she waited, the beach slowly getting warmer as it did. It was almost like summer all over again, maybe a little too warm. Mayu sighed again and pulled off her dress to reveal her bikini before laying back down, now that was better. She kept reading her foreign book, knowing it was okay since no one but her and maybe some others could understand it.

Mayu's text messaging wouldn't have usually woken Diane at any time which was even remotely similar to morning, but today was different. Her mouth felt completely dry, and the the flood of memories came back to her, piece by painful piece. She groaned and hid herself further into her bed, but could not ignore the fact that she wanted to read what the message had said. She pulled a single arm out of the sheets, finding that strangely it was not as cold as she had been expecting it to be. She pulled her phone back into her fortress, using it as a light under the covers, reading it was from Mayu. 'Wow', she thought, 'She must've been in a hurry if she didn't even wake me up'.
She pulled herself out of her pit, finally, though mostly because she was desperate for a drink. She waddled to the bathroom, looking at herself in the mirror as she poured out a glass of water. She looked worse for wear, but not as bad as she'd thought, and with the cool water inside her she was feeling much better.
She walked slowly to the beach. It was too warm for her to feel awake, which wasn't helped by the fact that she walked with her coat on - her security blanket. She walked near the beach, taking off her shoes and socks and rolling up her ugliest jeans, holding them in her hand as she walked over to Mayu. "Hey," she said, dropping down her stuff in the sand. She took her towel out of her bag and spread it against the sand, and then took off her coat and put it as a second layer. Under her coat was an old, old baggy t-shirt. She had been in no mood to look any good this 'morning'.

Mayu looked at Diane in surprise, she looked horrible. But it really was her own fault, drinking so much. She shook her head, Diane could be so weird at times, but drinking hadn't helped her one bit. "You and Ant will look alot the same." she said, smiling widely. Even though she acted like a fool atleast she had the sense not to drink so much.
She looked at her outfit then at De's, who had on what looked like pajamas. In a trailer park maybe. "Jeez. Can you rememer anything?" she asked, trying not to raise her voice.

Diane huddled herself onto a ball in the middle of the towel and coat, turning to Mayu and giving a half smile, her eyes almost fully closed in the bright light, "I don't remember a lot," she admitted, squinting as she tried to see Mayu. Was the light always this bright? "and surprisingly I feel OK. A little out of it, but not too bad," she said, giving a wide, slow grin which made it obvious that not all of the alcohol had quite left her system yet. "I don't have a headache, and generally I just feel like I've just not had enough sleep." she said, shrugging, but the alcohol in her made the shrug look more like a shiver. She pulled out a 2L bottle of water out of her bag, opening it and taking another drink.

Mayu looked at Diane with sympathy, knowing how hard it must be with a hangover. "Jump in the water." she suggested cruely. Yeah, it wasn't the nicest thing in the world, but it was effective. So what if it schocked her too much? She'd be awake wouldn't she?

Diane looked at the water in sheer shock, and her imagination of what she must have looked like in that moment of shock sent her into quiet laughter, shaking her head. At least she was starting to feel like herself again. "I think I'll give it a pass." she said, still laughing.
"So..." she said, lying back on the ground, though she could still feel shivers running up and down her body, it felt incredibly warm. "Who else is coming, do you know?"

Mayu layed down on her towel, putting her book away for good. "I know Ant will be, once he wakes up." she said a small smile on her lips. No wonder De had woken up so early, it wasn't great waiting for people. Should she have come later? Probably not, atleast here they could be alone and have fun wihtout worrying about people crowding them. Maybe the earlier jogger, but nothing serious.

Diane nodded to herself, twisting herself around on her towel and lying on her front, laying her head against her soft, fluffy collar. "Uh huh," she said, looking out into the empty part of the beach, the fluffy edge of her coat tickling her nose. She was trying hard to remember the night before, and all she could remember was Antosha was there, and how he had ran into the bathroom with Brynn. She remembered how angry she'd suddenly felt, and how angry she still felt in her fuzzy, nonsensical state. Did she do something to him? Did he do something to her?
"Did I make a fool of myself last night?" Diane asked, still looking out into the pure white sand. She hoped that if something had happened between her and Antosha, Mayu would be able to tell her before she made any more of a fool of herself.

Antosha rolled over in his fluffy bed, his phone was buzzing again. His head hurt, but he ignored it. Reaching over and flipping open his phone it showed a message from Mayu, telling him to get to the beach. He groaned, flinging the phone against the wall. He walked to the washroom, turning on the cold water and stood under it for almost an hour, or so it felt like. After awhile he stepped back out and got dressed in last nights clothes, glad that the small had gone.
If he rode his skateboard he would most likely fall,so he grabbed it and headed for the beach. Falling and skidding every ten minutes. He wasn't in a hurry, but hey. Maybe if the girl's turned their backs he could drown himself in the water before they noticed. He stopped short of the girls, wipping of the water the clung to his eyelashes. Walking up he sat down beside De, not bothering to aim for the towel he forgot to bring.

Mayu laughed, shaking her head. "I was with Maon most of the night, I wouldn't have noticed." she said, smiling at Diane's stress. Not that she had lied or anything but she just couldn't remember what Diane had odne after she ran away that night. Come to think of it she didn't know what happened to ANt after either.

He followed Antosha with her eyes, not even trying to get up, somehow pushing herself further into her coat, the sand parting underneith it to make her feel like she was sinking into the black fluff. If only she could. She could see Antosha there now, and couldn't help but feel worried by his silence. Was she still meant to hate him? She could feel a prickling feeling on her skin, like what she felt like when taking Psychics. If only the Magic Protection didn't work here - then she could access his memories and find out what had happened.
She pulled herself up, soundlessly shuffling around as she grabbed onto her towel and tugged tightly, prying it from out of her while still lying down on the coat. It finally released, and she threw it in his general direction.

Antosha moved slowly, as if his whole body was underwater. He barely managed to dodge the towel, not caring if he was covered in sand or not. There wasn't much point, he missed Brynn. But Brynn probably hated him by now. A wave of depression surged through him, making his chest hurt with the weight of unshed tears.
It was harder to breath, harder to think. Maybe he should talk, but he was scared his voice would break if he tried. De might though it was rude if he didn't so he tried. "Hey." he said, his voice broke on the last letter of the word. He winced, knowing they would laugh at him, everyone did even if it wasn't to his face.

Diane fell back into her snuggly black fortress, the blanket of sunlight reminding her of how comfy she was this morning before she was so rudely awoken. Only this was different. It felt like a jigsaw where two pieces had been swapped around, completely throwing off the whole image. He wasn't speaking much, and what he did say was so quiet and scared, Diane instantly jumped to conclusions. 'Oh God, what did I do?' she thought, her thoughts screaming so loud in her mind she was sure that if not for the Magic-Free Protection they would have felt it instantly.
As it was though, her face was still burried in her coat. She didn't want to apologise for something she know what it was, or how just it was. "Hey." she croaked back. Her throat was drying up again, and she didn't want to lift herself up to get her drink.

Antosha sighed and reached into his pocket and pulled out a peice of paper. "Here." he said, dropping it into her lap. After dropping the picture on De's lap he reached for her water to give to her.
He had drawn her again, only this time she didn't look as pretty. He had drawn her as a glass girl, her face torn up by thousands of butterflies. As she raised her hands to defend herself, she lost an arm. There were two people watching the girl being eaten alive, himself and Brynn. Brynn had been turned to stone, a frozen scream lit his face. Antosha had drawn himself dead again, laying at Brynn's feet with his heart ripped out. He had left his eyes open, his arm reaching up for Brynn.

Diane lifted herself up to look at the picture, but almost instantly wished that she hadn't. "Is this some kind of joke?" she asked, having to skim her eyes straight back up to Antosha as soon as she saw a hint of a butterfly, and herself in the picture. Curiousity for the gross drew her back to the picture, were she drew in the full intake of the horror before her. She hadn't even noticed that Brynn and Antosha were in it before, also suffering, and she couldn't help but stare at it to try and calm her heart down somewhat. She could feel it pulsing in her chest, beating loudly in her ears and for once her face was turning bright red and not from embarrassment.
She threw the picture back at him, though immediately wished that she hadn't. The fluttering of the picture had appeared all too like that of wings, and she couldn't help but take in a sharp intake of breath. Her breathing was dangerously deep from then on. "You-" she tried to say something, but her whole body felt like it was breaking down.
She turned away, suddenly realising that Antosha had never known about her fear, yet it seemed all too much of a coincidence. Her eyes flicked immediately to Mayu; she must have seen her reaction. She must have known. Her gaze turned dark, before she finally looked away, scrambling together her things as quickly as she could.
