A scream shook the room.
Antosha looked up, confused. Why would anyone scream like that? He reached for their mind, and reeled back in pain. No one should be able to feel that much pain at one time. His sister.. His own sister was gone.
He looked at the drawing, feeling tears run down his face. Without a second thought he ran to find Dea, leaving the picture on the table.
Picture: Mayu stood in a flowing black dress, her arms wrapped around Mel. They looked at each other in a very love like fashion. A figure, cloaked in shadow, stood behind both, holding his arms around them. Death.
His feet pounded on the ground, tears running freely. He found his way to Diane with no problem, falling to his knees beside her. He sobbed, trying to find the words to say. Too much pain. She was too far gone.
The waves of her magic hit, pulling him farther into the hole. Then, just as they started, they were gone. So was she. "Dea.. Oh god, Dea. Their dead. Their dead." he sobbed, putting his head on her knee.

She looked at him, running to him as soon as he saw her, tears streaming down her eyes. "Antosha..." She said, kneeling down and putting her arms are her. Who were 'they'? Her heart pounded at the very thought of someone else dying, and though it should have been obvious her mind blocked her from guessing who.
"Who el-" she stopped, the waves of magic striking her, each wave carrying a signature of Mayu. "M-Mayu too?" she gasped, barely able to believe her own words. It was too much. Soon she would wake from this nightmare.

"They.. She.. My gun.." his words broke and cracked, feeling hollow without his sister. All he wanted was Brynn, someone get him Brynn. He couldn't do this alone. Not tonight, not ever. Please let this be a trick, please let them wake up soon. The emotions still surged through him. Everything they had felt before their death. "So much pain..." he muttered, sinking to the floor.

Diane took her arms around him, feeling so much pain from just watching him. She shook her head, knowing that the worst of the impact was yet to come. "Antosha!" she said, her hands resting on his arms.
Her eyes fixed wide open suddenly, breathing heavily. Somehow, for however long, she had taken his empathy away from him - giving him a moment of relief, though she now felt every part of the pain. The incident was still crackling in the air.
She gasped, feeling Mayu's insanity, Melville's undying loyalty, their love and the pain... The pain...

Antosha watched her, quickly taking back his gift. Feeling her crack. "You weren't meant for this, Dea. It could kill you." he was softer, able to sort through the memories faster. "I know where they are.." he said, standing up slowly. "We need to get them." he forced back the tears. Wanting to help his sister, even if this was the last time.. He.. would.. see her.. Tears ran fast and heavy down his cheeks.

She stumbled forwards as the power was taken from her. She hadn't meant to take it, she wanted to tell him and guessed his mind was too busy to hear her thoughts. "They... Destroyed him..." she said slowly, remembering Melville's dying request. Had Antosha even been able to read Mel's memories? "Mel made a deal with Mathew that if Mayu died... Mathew would be gone." she said, finding some small comfort in knowing that their deaths had not been in vain, even if it didn't seem worth it.

He sighed, pulling her towards the forest. "I don't care!" he shouted, pulling her through the rain. Letting it hit him harder. Give him somehting to hold onto. "They are out there... Their bodies. I'm not leaving them alone." he shook his head, running towards the bank. Pulling back as he saw their bodies, nearly puking. "Oh god..." he fell down, unable to go further.

She frowned. She hadn't meant to upset him more; She was just trying to console him a little.
She froze as she saw the bodies, her eyes wide as she couldn't help but stare, taking another step forward. For a moment, they weren't real; just characters from some scary movie. Even as she had seen it with the second of Antosha's power, it was even more disgusting in real life, though the icy weather preserved their dying pain to the moment it happened.
She shuddered - the only real movement she had made since it came to vision, and then ran to behind a tree. Her stomach wasn't as strong as Antosha's, as she threw up; thousands of icy tears falling.

Antosha growled, turning away from Diane quickly. Can't leave them... the words replayed in his head, again and again. His eyes looked over Melville's twisted and mutilated body with sadness, knowing how his sister had felt at that moment. Again the waves crashed against him, threatening to drag him down.
He glanced at Diane, knowing she wouldn't be able to handle any of this. He was a guy, he'd have to do all this. His hands reached his phone, dialing Ms Jackson without a simple feeling. It rang, she picked up. "Mayu Nami Yoshiko and Seth Melville are dead in the forest. It's not a pretty picture. Send help." he hung up, not wanting to hear her reply.
His feet moved on their own, bringing him closer to his sister's body, bringing him closer to the dead. He kneeled beside them, looking at how they died carefully. Slowly, minutes passed by, he rested his hand on their foreheads and shut their eyes. Then he closed his own eyes, feeling broken. So much pain... So much love. It shouldn't of been them who died.

Ms Jackson was in her office, packing away her things when she had the phone, placing it into her hand and saying, "Hel-" her word cut off by Antosha. She could hear the silence and urgency, the crying in the background and the stillness.
She dropped the phone down slowly, looking around her office. Her worst nightmares had come true - things had gone far enough. She picked up the phone again, her hands shaking as she typed in the emergency number, relaying the message to the police and adding in certain code words to let them know this was probably a magical matter. Then, she hung up, sinking back into her chair and staring into space. She wouldn't go there. The right people could sort this from now on out, as they should have before this had gone out of hand. It wasn't her problem anymore; it would be left to whoever would be the new Head Teacher.

She watched Antosha, wiping her mouth and tears, wanting to pull him away from them. There was something so peaceful about them, like they should be covered and left there, surrounded by thick glass and left alone in a perfect world. It was like watching two worlds colliding when Antosha was close, and that just made it all the more real. She shook her head, unable to look anymore as she stepped further away, though couldn't quite leave the area.
"I didn't get to say goodbye to Mayu..." she said slowly, putting her arm against a tree and resting her head on that arm. "I couldn't even do it seriously to Mel..." she said softly, looking up as the sounds of voices could be heard traveling through the forest.

"No one is touching them." His voice was low and controlled, feeding off of Mayu's insanity. A threat, that's what they were. Threatening the bodies of his family. A growl started at the base of his through, more animal then human. As fast as possible, his body shifted and morphed, becoming one of a panther. His animal. A lethal predator, his tail whipped back and forth. Guarding the bodies from anyone who dared come close. A snarl ripped out of his throat, a vicious sound. He crouched, seeming more dangerous then ever. Dangerous enough to kill.

She turned slowly, hearing the growl as her eyes widened, watching Antosha closely. She turned to the voices, seeing them at the top of the bank, daring not fall down and suffer as Melville had, talking to each other in hushed voices as they all looked at the giant beast below them. To them, it was clear what the cause of death was - they could only see the two twisted bodies, the great cat guarding them with no ounce of humanity left. And then hiding not too far away was another girl, still alive, but possibly the next victim...
They split up into two groups, guns and magic ready as they tried to find a safe way down the bank.
"Antosha... Antosha change back... Don't hurt them!" Diane begged, though her voice could barely be heard through tears.

"Get away from them!" his voice shook the entire area, growls increasing. He paced, guarding the bodies while keeping the others in his sight. The dead grass crushed, turning to ash beneath his large paws. He was weeping, but his new eyes wouldn't let him. Antosha snarled, flashing his formidable teeth at anyone who dared to stray to close. His sister, her love. They couldn't be harmed by anyone.

New tears found their way from her eyes, streaming down as she watched Antosha's pain, remembering the feelings that she had shared. "Antosha..." she said softly, taking a very daring step forwards.
The police were all around, looking at each other in confusion. It was a man in that form, they saw, but that didn't mean he wasn't just as dangerous. They kept their distance, waiting for him to calm, ready to fire tranquilizing bullets if it looked like he would strike out.
"Antosha..." she said again, taking another step forward, standing between him and the bigger group of police. "Antosha... they're already gone." she told him, fearing that her voice would break at the wrong point. "There's nothing we can do..."
